Open to having fun in life with other sentience and getting to know myself in the process.
Polyamory is welcome here.
Not religious but won't judge if you are(n't).
I am a parent.
I prefer rough music like Rammstein and Manson and want to see the ballets: The Nutcracker Suite and Swan Lake.
I also prefer to make my own music. If you're into that too, we have a big commonality!
I have Guinea Pigs and can type grammatically correct while maintaining a speed of about 25-30 wpm - on a key board of course. (They're going to their house over there).
I take refuge in the three jewels...as long as space remains, as long as time remains, as long as sentient beings remain, may I too remain to dispell the miseries of the world.
Learning something new. I usually look disinterested, but I'm really sizing up the entire puzzle.
Meditative silence. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti
I tend to lean towards nonfiction though haven't read much since I graduated, but do reports and journal entries count? I guess if they're like 200 pages.
Carlos Castaneda. That's one name that tickles my fancy. Ive read Eckhart Toole, Daniel Quinn, the Dalai Lama, Jack Kerouac, William S Burroughs, Aldous Huxley, Romeo Dalaire.
One book I really enjoyed was called Skinwalker Ranch.
Top three books: They fight like soldiers, they die like children
The bell jar (I never really finished it, but I've read it probably a dozen times. I get to a point in the book where it feels as though I'm afraid of what
Silvia Plath needs to say.)
2)Natural Born Killers
3)Heavy Metal/Ninja Scroll
Full Metal Jacket
The Godfather part 2
Seems I don't watch TV.
I try to keep up with: Vice.Com
Last Week with John Oliver
And anything epicurean. Chuck Hughs, Andrew Zimern, Anthony Bourdain, Action Bronson.
Music: I kinda hate poppy, modern country. Love talking about the roots of music and where it's going. I generally enjoy anything Post Punk (new wave, grunge, industrial, trip hop, electronic[to a point, lol]). I like punk, folk, metal and classic rock too, but notice I will prefer Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie over Nickelback any day. Oh, I HATE Nickelback too.
Food: I like to start from scratch.
If we're buying, I love Thai, Sushi, most Chinese but generally Dimsum, but never picky.

Are new to Canada and want to talk to an English speaking person, as long as you talk to me in your first language
