I'm a genuine, nice guy. Born and raised in the South, and trying to have an adventure in the big city. I look for ambition, intelligence, and a caring attitude. A sports-lover doesn't hurt either. I'm just as happy going out on the town as I am cuddling up on the couch for a movie. Love to travel, read, cook, and meet new people.

I like to be busy, but I make time for what's important.

cooking. Always wanted to be a chef. Maybe I'll take it up as my second job, or just cook for my friends and loved ones.

But also, I tend to be good at starting a conversation. I'm the "social one" who always gets sent over to meet the new people.

I get comments on my eyes a lot. They are this mix of green, light brown, and a bit of gold (so I'm told).

Also, I drink out of the side of my mouth.

I normally switch back and forth between fiction and non-fiction. The last few excellent books I have read include several by David McCullough and also And The Band Played On.
For movies, I enjoy classic cinema, but also love a good action film or crazy drama.
In the time I have for TV, I like medical dramas, Jeopardy, ESPN, and, of course, Glee.
Music-wise, I tend to stick to top-40. Boring, I know.
Cooking is one of my favorite activities, and given my heritage, I do have a love of Greek food.

2) A news source. I'm a news junkie.
3) A good book (although lately I've switched to e-books).
4) My camera. I love to document the lives of my friends and family.
5) Friends.
6) Someone with whom to have an intelligent conversation.

Where I'm going to travel next. I'm lucky to have been given the opportunity to travel...but there are so many places I still want to see. Czech Republic, South Africa, Tanzania, New Zealand, Australia, Greece, San Francisco, Brazil...

Politics and Sports. My two big passions outside of medicine. Feel free to ask about those, although I can talk all night.

My teams are Duke University and the Carolina Panthers.

My politics lean left.
