Books - I tend to hit the comedy/humor, "new age", and
sociology/psychology/cultural studies sections of any bookstore I
enter. One of my favorite childhood books was The Missing Piece by
Shel Silverstein. Also The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter
series. (Ok, my friends pointed out that I should actually say that
I'm obsessed with LotR, but I think obsessed is a strong
Currently, I'm reading Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking
Glass, and Cloud Atlas.
Movies - Comedies. I like morbid but funny - so anything by Tim
Burton. And Monty Python. Fantasy of the LotR-type. I don't watch a
lot of TV (no cable or internet at home). I'm slightly obsessed
with the Cloud Atlas movie right now.
Music - Yes. There are very few styles of music I don't like.
Listening to right now: cheezy old 80/90s pop songs, Johnny Cash,
celtic, folk, and classical music, Rising Appalachia, Lykke Li,
Imagine Dragons... I'm learning to appreciate electronic music, but
I can't say I like it yet.
Food - I'm a picky eater who's willing to try anything once. And if
I like it, I'll try it again!
