I love Sci/Fi and Fantasy books, ones that seem more thought out,
and seem to follow some logical rules, or are slightly realistic
are nice. Things like David Weber, John Ringo, Terry Goodkind, and
George R.R. Martin are nice. I also like Terry Pratchett, Robert
Jordan, Tad Williams, and a whole host of other authors. I used to
read a lot more then I do now, but I still read a fair amount. I
tend to stay away from comics, or chain books based on
I like Action and Sci/Fi movies, Comedies are good too. I strongly
dislike horror, and depressing movies of any kind... Sappy love
stories are okay if I'm watching them with someone I can cuddle
with. I don't watch TV, but I do download a few TV shows. Doctor
Who is an awesome show, a few others are worth watching too.
I like just about any kind of food. I tend to eat healthy at home,
and eat just about whatever strikes my fancy the few times I do eat
out. I never eat fast food, and rarely eat American style food
(when eating out). I love trying new things, spicy food, garlic,
onions, and so forth. Curry is a huge favourite of mine. Thai,
Italian, Greek, Indian, Sushi, and Mexican are likely my
favourites, but really, I like just about everything. I dislike the
texture of mushrooms, and some forms of cooked seafood. That's
I'm also a cook, and while I tend to be lazy if I'm only feeding
myself, I like to make awesome feasts when I have friends over. I
have taken quite a few cooking classes at the SRJC, some of my
favourites are the Thai and Indian cooking classes.
I like music without lyrics, words, or any form of vocals.
Things like Änglagård, Apocalyptica, Bond, Mono, Mussorgsky,
Ratatat, Tchaikovsky, and Wagner.... And many others... If it
doesn't have voices, chances are I'll like it... And if anyone
knows a really nice percussion ensemble, that's heavy on the drums,
let me know about them. In general though, even if it has lyrics,
I'm fine with it, I just find lyrics really distracting, so when
I'm picking music, I tend to avoid them.
