I am salty, jaunty, and sublime.

My Self-Summary

I've recently gone back to school to get my PhD so I can work in biological research. I can see why this would be way easier in my twenties because I had seven room-mates ($100/mo rent/utilities) and was much better at taking crap when I was a sweet young thing. As painful as constant work and poverty is, I'm insanely happy that I went back to school. It's fascinating and I'll never run out of new things to study.

I've been crazed workaholic girl for a few years, but now I'm taking it easy and breathing more often. I forgot how much I love breathing. It's quite lovely.

Now I'm thinking of doing frivolous brainless things like watching reality TV and mastering Mariocart. One of my major brainless goal right now is to advance to expert on my DDR. It feels like disco speed twister.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I'm laying on the couch petting my cat, much like an evil genius.

I’m really good at

multitasking, sleeping, & cartwheels

The first things people usually notice about me

I have no idea, but I wish it was my vast hottiness, sharp mind, an air of je ne se qua. It's probably the amazing elasticity of my face. If I had a superpower, its my capacity to make odd faces. Its not a good superpower, but it amuses small children.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books by PG Wodehouse, Terry Pratchet, Kurt Vonnegut, & Biology textbooks. Fried Green Tomatoes, Fight Club, Dogma, Love song for Bobby Long. Concrete Blonde, Patsy Cline, & Brahms.

The six things I could never do without

the Internet, my bike, things to figure out, friends, the Daily Show, & a pulse

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think about work most of my day, which is a good thing since I love biology. It's an elaborate never-ending puzzle with partially understood rules and deep importance to humanity and curiosity.

The rest of the time I think about what I want to do with my friends, day-dreaming, news, my diet, who's stalking me on OKCupid, budgeting, my next mixed CD, sex, and deciding if I've had too much caffeine yet.

On a typical Friday night I am

Invading Poland

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
