There ain't a whole lot to do around Barnsley and even OKCupid puts it miles too far/too close to anywhere else, but that seems to be a kind of theme here.

Let's see. I don't give a damn about any form of religion, organised or otherwise. Come to think of it, I don't give a damn about much really. Cheap beer is good, but then so is any other form of beer.

I don't mind kids and they tend to like me to the point of not leaving me alone long enough for me to sneak out for a smoke. If you hate smokers, I'm probably not going to be your best friend.

I'm a self confessed and proud computer geek though the other types of geekery like sci-fi and/or fantasy don't really interest me.

Latest on the hobby plate is flying model aircraft. I've just built one from scratch and trying to make it work as well in the sky as it does in my head.

Anything technical that needs problems to be solved, disasters to be made, lessons to be learned. If I'm not learning something new then I tend to not be interested, but something new can be anything ranging from the finer points of QED to simply what jokes someone likes.

Funnily enough, and I don't think I'm alone here, I'm forever thinking about utterly unrealistic scenarios and how I'd act in them. So unrealistic that they go and happen three weeks later when I've totally forgotten.

Other times, it's just general useless crap. Is my web server still running? Why in %DEITY%'s name did I do that back then? What can I do to fix X? Why doesn't Y work like I want it to? I should really get something to eat but I'm bloody busy. Maybe if I tried A then B would happen, but what about the possibility of bad C?

Friday's my night out, so usually I'm propping up some bar in Barnsley.
