I am random, perky, and bored.
My Self-Summary
I am currently in law school at Idaho. which means I don't have a
whole lot of time. It's amazing how out of date your profile can
get in a few months! If I don't respond to a message, please don't
take it personal, I probably should just delete this profile
altogether. I'm not really interested in meeting random new
friends, mostly because I don't have the time to be a super great
friend right now. Sorry, just being honest.
What I’m doing with my life
I grew up in Spokane, moved to Seattle for college and then moved
back because Seattle is effing expensive. I regret it a
lot...
I just started law school this fall. Yes, I want to be a lawyer...
Somehow I always end up talking about politics or religion in bars.
You know, the topics you're not supposed to talk about. If that
makes you uncomfortable, you may want to steer clear, just a
disclaimer.
I’m really good at
Rambling on and on. I have to talk to people all day at work, and
one story tends to lead into another until I'm talking about
something altogether different, and then I realize how off track I
have become and go back to the original topic, which wasn't that
great to begin with, so I change the subject and move on to
something completely different. How's that for a run on
sentence?
I'm pretty awesome at making coffee, and being a lot different than
people expect from their first impressions of me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, especially if I'm in heels. I'm about 5'9 in regular
shoes and have a lot of shorty friends.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'll admit that I don't read the most intellectual stuff when I get
to choose. I usually read to escape whatever is going on, so it's
often some dumb chick book. No romance novels with Fabio on the
cover though. Ew. Lately whenever I sit down to read a book, it's a
huge hardback with tons of court cases in it. I don't really read
much else at the moment.
I love movies but usually wait to see them when they come out on
DVD. Is it sad that the last movie I went to was in January? Yes,
yes it is.
I mostly listen to
rock/metal and
country, but if you look through my
collection I have everything. Rock, country, reggae, top 40, jazz,
classical, broadway... I was a band geek, and definitely appreciate
a lot of different types.
The six things I could never do without
1. Water. I know it's a staple, but seriously, I always have water
with me.
2. My dog, she's only two years old, so she will be around for
awhile!
3. Chapstick, I hate chapped lips! Gross.
4. Money. Don't need a lot, just enough to get by, and get some
cute shoes.
5. Friends and family, the clichés you know.
6. A purse. After carrying one for over 10 years, I feel naked
without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. I imagine scenarios and how I would like them to play
out. I am still working on the ability to make them come true. I
have had dreams in which I didn't like the outcome, so I basically
rewound them and started over. Then I replayed them again and again
until they come out the way I like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not studying! It's my rule.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You know how you can pet the dolphins at Sea World? Well, when I
was 5 I fell in the tank. Seriously. My family still calls my Dolly
Dolphin every once in a while. It may not be all that private
because pretty much everyone I know has heard the story before, but
I still think it's funny.
You should message me if
-You're intrigued... I don't know.
-If you have more to say than hi...
-You have a pet parakeet named Marty...
-You are really open minded, not just someone who thinks they are
open minded because they are "progressive." Open minded is when you
can see both sides.
-Your favorite beer isn't made in America, or if it is, it is
produced by a company that employs less than fifty people.
-You know good places to go either hiking or camping in the Spokane
region...
-You don't own Acqua Di Gio cologne.
I think that's enough.
