My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm no good at this. It's hard to describe myself, but I'll give it a shot. I work, I dance, I play pool. Mostly, I just like having fun.

I find it interesting that people so often describe themselves by what they do for a living instead of what they do for fun. I'll get that out of the way quickly and then move on. What I do for a living is go to work each day. I enjoy what I do, but mostly it just pays for the things I really want to do.

I love to dance. Dancing is a passion of mine and has been for most of my life. I can't imagine a life without dancing.

I'm a huge nerd. I read Harry Potter roughly once a year, play lots of video games, and love to get into long political and theological discussions. I like to read at bars.

I studied religion in college (which has been completely useless for my career, but was thoroughly interesting) and continue to do so as a hobby. (DISCLAIMER: "Study" does not equal practice, judge, proselytize, evangelize, preach, or anything of the sort.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a geek, having fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really have no idea. I haven't asked too many people that question...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Les Miserables (This is my favorite story of all time, and I guess it falls into multiple categories...books, movies, music, etc.), Count of Monte Cristo, the Journeyer, Anything by Christopher Moore, Harry Potter, The Magicians. Movies: Sabrina, The Sting, Swingers. Shows: Psych, Archer, Entourage, Firefly. Music: Just about anything...but top five are Royal Crown Revue, Reverand Horton Heat, Tom Waits, the Blasters, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The human body and mind are truly incredible in their ability to adapt to new situations, so in truth the only things I could never go without are air, water, food, shelter, sleep, and my health.

Other than those, the six things I which I would miss most if I could not have are:

Good socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why it seems that so many people just don't get it...
Why people stress so often about little things.
Why the "country music" they play on the radio isn't country music at all.
Why not enough people are dancing all the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cleaning my apartment before going out dancing anywhere a good band is playing or playing pool at the local bar with friends. I know it's weird, but I love coming home to a clean place.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's obviously not that private if I write it here on the internet. That said, I've read the Harry Potter series nine times.
