I hit stuff. More of a thinker than a dreamer.

24-year old international law lecturer, drummer, full-time blabbermouth and energizer bunny. Playing drums and listening to music (jazz, funk, ska, weird blues stuff, garage rock, psychedelic hardrock and reggae, but basically everything other than techno and schlager - yes, also classical). Music is immensely important to me, especially jazz and improvised music. When I'm not teaching international law or playing drums, I spend my time cooking Italian and Indian food. I love weird, quirky, unique and opinionated people and heated discussions (yes, that means you! *uncle Sam gesture*). I don't hide myself or my opinions, and neither should anyone else.

I'm still looking for a job after finishing my Master's degree, all the while working on my Phd proposal, I play in some bands (look up The Shenanigans and buy our music!), and try engage in debating the merits of international law in the postmodern society and mastering the fine art of Italian cooking *snobbish look*

Hitting stuff.

I smile like the Joker, and apparently I have an equally inappropriate sense of humour. Which isn't too bad I guess.

Music: ¡Que Viva Mingus! Also Miles Davis, James Brown, George Clinton, Frank Zappa, The Mars Volta, Kaizers Orchestra, Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Donny Hathaway, Bob Marley, Groundation, Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, Amon Tobin, Jack White, Eels, The Black Keys, John Zorn, Devin Townsend, Tom Waits and basically everything in between. Some more Tom Waits. Did I mention Zappa? Oh, and fuck yeah Clutch.

Books: reading Les Bienveillantes, which is on its way to becoming my favorite book. Pretentious, but great. My favorite fiction author is probably Philip Roth.

Movies: everything Tarantino and everything Coen Brothers. HBO series ranging from Game of Thrones to Boardwalk Empire and The Borgias are awesome, as is Breaking Bad. Louis Theroux is one of my personal heroes. If you have no idea who Dr Who is, I may sometimes be hard to follow. Stephen Fry should be world governor, just so you know.
