I love Shakespeare and go down to Seaport Village every month to read scenes. You should too, fresh meat is always welcome. Verily.

Every once in awhile I am in a play, my next is Shakespeare's Scottish Play. If you know why I called it that, you might be awesome? Back down to four characters. We open this Friday 3/8 in Point Loma, Vanguard Theatre, come see.

I found out about modern, designer type, board games this year with Wil Wheaton's TableTop show. These are not your Monopolies or Trivial Pursuits. I've now got a small collection, just added Takenoko and Galaxy Trucker this week. Want to play a game?

Making things.

Maybe my feet, size 15 - STOMP STOMP!

Fiction of the scientific and the fantastical. If it's by Gaiman, Pratchett or Eric Flint all the better. Also Ellison, Turtledove, Niven, Weber.

Movies of the same including things by Pixar, the Coens, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Joss, Peter Jackson. I do not enjoy horror/slasher types and The Fifth Element is my favorite movie of all time. I believe that there are 2 kinds of people in the world, those who love Joe vs. the Volcano and those who have brain clouds.

Shows: (do you see the trend) Firefly, Lost (I was one of the first people to see it publicly when they showed the pilot episode for the first time) Mythbusters, Community is the best show on TV right now(but I have anxiety for the new season), I wish Whose Line was still on even if only in reruns. Anything by Joss Whedon. Although I have not seen his episode of Glee so I can't say that definitively.

Food: I do not appreciate spicy, that's how it is. But talk to me about pizza and I'm yours. My favorite joint is Voltero's on Balboa in Clairemont but I just found out they're moving and won't be open again until February. I am allergic to fruit.

I listen to podcasts while I drive. If you've never heard the Thrilling Adventure Hour, you haven't lived. Which just led me to The Dead Authors Podcast.

I've never had a sip of alcohol. Never. Not for any big reason but for many little ones. Put together it make no drinky-drinky for the J man. Maybe I'll try to make sense of it for you sometime but not over a drink.
