My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
California refugee searching for summer rain, seasons and better public transit. I like to think that my job is more than a paycheck, but I need that paycheck for better beer and better groceries
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In a word: internet
You know when you call the IT department at work and they tell you to restart your computer? That's me! I try my best to make people feel like the problem with their computer isn't their fault, even though it usually is

When I'm not going to work I try to stay out of my car- though my friends have not been cooperating with this and all seem to live in bike unfriendly places...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Board games, specifically risk and catan, I'm actually not as good at playing these games as I am at getting people to play them- sometimes you have to modify your victory conditions...
Making coffee: pour over, #2 filter, from a tea kettle
Drinking coffee: ...
Also, fixing the internet, quesadillas, movie references, answering questions
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Three Musketeers, Being There, Brave New World
-Absurd, dystopian, character driven, as long as the main character doesn't spend the whole novel simultaneously whining about his problems while creating more, like Catcher in the Rye. I fucking hated that book

The Road Warrior, Wreck-it Ralph, Iron Sky, Die Hard, Moon, Robocop (1987), Inglorious Bastards, The Kingsmen, Jurassic Park, The Iron Giant, Dirty Harry, Pacific Rim, Starship Troopers, Mad Max Fury Road
-A mix between mainstream action movies and cult/ independent thrillers. The hero is not required to speak much (I'm counting the T-Rex as the hero of Jurassic Park)

PS, Die Hard uses Beethovens 9th as the leitmotif for Alan Rickman, in his first movie. Also, It is a great Christmas movie. Winter is coming

PPS, Dirty Harry is probably the most realistic movie about the geography of San Francisco and Marin county.

Fargo, American Horror Story: Asylum, Life on Mars, the Americans, Cowboy Beebop
-Well written, human dramas with intelligent, capable and independent female characters. Quantico is stupid

Black Keys, Sublime, The Funk Brothers, Jimmy Hendrix, Jack White, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Ray Charles and the Raelettes, Cake
-Ska would be great if more bands were good at it, otherwise the funkier the better

I love all food, especially the kind that goes with beer, though I have accepted that spicy food goes with wine. Wine is good too, but raw tomatoes are not. Don't like 'em, wont eat 'em

Onions, olives, bell peppers, zucchini, black beans, extra sharp cheddar
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Rain, green things, snow boots, stick shift, French roast and bread
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How bringing a lunch from home is hurting my social standing in the workplace. Whether or not I need another cup of coffee. What is wrong with my bicycle this week
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually a friend is hosting a casual get together, or sometimes a friend from the west coast happens to be in a not too far city giving me an excuse to jump in the car and skip town entirely

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have opinions but aren't afraid of other peoples, know what a pale ale is supposed to taste like, own a bicycle and know how to use it,
