My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
This profile has been dormant for a long time, and I find myself single for the the first time in 6 years. I am recently divorced, but there is minimal drama. My ex and I are civil and share custody of our daughter. We are just an example of people marrying young and growing apart. I do put a lot of stake in marriage, with it being a persons vows and all, so I fought for the relationship long after it was over.

I can't say that I will ever get married again, I honestly don't know. Right now my priorities are my daughter, work, and hopefully continuing my education. However, I would go crazy if I only tended to responsibilities, so I'm looking for those of the geek persuasion to spend my free time with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I put in about 50 hours a week in a white a white collar position, and then spend my day's off with my daughter. I am non-religious, fiscally moderate, and socially liberal, so there's that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Over thinking whatever situation I am in.

Making homemade cookies. Seriously.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I have more gray hair than the typical guy in his late 20's?

A) Palahniuk, Steinbeck, and Vonnegut are the big three. No way can I pin any of these authors to one book.

For some laughter, there is the Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett. Good Omens is also over the top awesome, co-written Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

The Vampire Chronicles and pre-religious Anne Rice are a guilty pleasure.

B) The movies that I have watched most in my life would be The Shawshank Redemption and Jurassic Park. I love Fight Club, Seven, V for Vendetta, Lord of War, and (the one that makes me feel like I am the only person that actually saw it) Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang would be the most over the top funny movie I think I have ever seen. Dry and Sarcastic? Check and Check.

C) My early love for television started as bad luck for shows themselves. The first show I watched every week religiously was Freaks and Geeks. The next time I got addicted to a show it was Arrested Development. I have been binging on Doctor Who thanks to Netflix.

D) The only "artist/s" to use the medium of hip-hop in over decade is MC Frontalot, or MC Lars. That's my opinion and I am sticking to it. Top artists for me would be Tool (APC is included by association), Led Zep, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, and Rush. There are many more that I like, but this is the primo shit.

Stroke by Billy Squire is my guilty pleasure song, the moment I hear it start I turn it up to 11.

E) Gummy Bears, seriously I love them. I could eat biscuits and gravy for every meal. I don't eat either at dangerous levels so no need yet to beware of diabetes or heart attack.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My Daughter
2) The Realms of Geekdom
3) Independent Thought
4) The technology the modern world provides (or I would have no qualms with living on a commune)
5) The ability to learn
I tire of this...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How not-so-dystopian and somewhat bland the future will probably be in all honesty.

I'm a guy (or maybe it is just being human), so sex.

The beautiful wildcard in life that is Chaos (what I view odds and chance as being).

I have an opinion on just about everything mysterious and how it fits in with our world. I have a theory (I am using the term loosely) on how "sun signs" may truly effect personality. I mean this in a completely non-spiritual sense as I am a naturalist.

I was raised pentecostal, and know what "spiritual" feels like. If I wish to have a comparable feeling to spirituality I look at the stars at night and try to truly fathom their size and how far away they are, or I look at smoke and how it will never appear the same again due to all of the wildcards involved. Chaos in it's purest form is beautiful.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going to bed early as I open Saturday mornings. Btw, I'm a night owl, so Friday and Saturday nights are rough for me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

My daughter is named after a Star Wars character from the expanded universe.

Tye Dye makes complete sense when seen in a certain way...

the mood strikes. You just want to chat. I just enjoy interaction, there is always something to learn from conversing with others. If just looking for a friend, somebody to game with, or enjoy some platonic activity that is to be decided. If interested in dating, and the non-platonic, well, I suppose we can at least learn of each others existence and go from there.
