My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Okay, so, it's been, oh....months since I was on here last and obviously things have changed for me. Mostly that I got married and no longer have a steady internet connection. So, I'm thinking I should overhaul my profile. I will try to answer people who decide I'm interesting but no promises. Away we go.
First and foremost, I am not looking for anyone to date. This website has to the option of looking for new friends, so that's why I'm still here. But, I really would like a girlfriend. We don't really have to do anything, but it would be totally awesome to have a girl to talk to and hang out with. I just get frustrated sometimes, you know?
Anyway, about my personality and stuff, I'm shy, pretty quiet generally, a bit of a dreamer. I get lost in my head because it's a nice place to be. I like to play video games and Dungeons & Dragons, but let it be known I do not fear the sun. I'm pagan, but that really doesn't come up much in my life. I mention it more because I feel it conveys more of my attitude and outlook. And because some people need to know religious stuff. Humor is important to me, because being able to laugh things off is how I deal with problems. Maybe some people don't get my jokes, but whatever, I still laugh. I'm also still holding on tight to my childhood. I like to play pretend and go play on playgrounds, even if my butt doesn't always fit the slides. Just a gentle, sweet girl who loves her family and doesn't always know how to start a conversation, but really hates to be lonely.
Anyway, I get along with nearly anybody, and really want some more friends. Anything besides that will be dealt with on a case by case basis. So, there you go. Hope your day (or night) makes you smile :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working my paying job at a boarding kennel, and my non-paying one of being Mommy. At some point I'm hoping to get caught enough to go back to school for a zoology degree. What I'll do with it, I'm not quite sure yet, but I know it's where I want to go.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm not too bad at pencil sketching, and I'm pretty good at adventure-style games. And now that I think about it, I have being tired down to an art.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm basing this on what I hear later, after the first meeting. My chest is an eye-catcher. *shrugs* It happens.
I think people also notice that I'm very quiet. I don't talk much until I've warmed up to people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like fantasy and fiction books, no specifics. I like comedy movies the best, but I also like fantasy, fiction, some sci-fi, and certain action movies. My favorite directors are Hiyao Miyazaki and Tim Burton, if that helps. I into Star Wars, but I'm not a trekkie, sorry. I watch more tv then movies, so how about Family Guy, Invader Zim, Metalocalypse, Doctor Who, Top Chef, Iron Chef, Chopped (shut up, I like cooking battles.),Ninja Warrior, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, and some other stuff. As far as food goes, I like almost anything. I guess Mexican is at the top of my list though. Guess I forgot music. I'm tolerant of pretty much anything, but I don't like rap. If I was to go buy cds I guess they would include Nightwish, Nickelback, Bowling for Soup, Jimmy Buffet, some new celtic stuff, and maybe some electronica and dance. You know, to listen to when I'm cleaning the house.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My daughter, the rain, my imagination, Ben and Jerry's Dublin Mudslide, my sketchbook, and my mom. I realize most of those aren't "things", but whatever.
Six things I CAN do without - cockroaches, being sticky, the feel of raw meat, that smell when old ladies wear too much perfume, people telling me there's nothing wrong when there clearly is, and fake smiles.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where my life is heading. Nobody wants to just drift along, but right now it's about all I can do. Oh, and I have another baby on the way, so I think about my growing family quite a lot.
On the less serious side, I think about Ponies and stuff too. My mind is like a swimming pool- it has a deep side and a shallow side, and both are fun unless you don't know how to swim.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing much. I can't even afford cable or internet, so my video games are my only real entertainment. I would really like to be doing more though, even if it's goofing around. Especially if it's just goofing around. I've never been much of a partier.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have trust issues. And not the "I bet you'll cheat on me" kind, the "I bet you'll leave me as soon as we get close" kind. I hate that I have them, but I've been hurt a lot. I just want someone to care as much about me as I do about them.
