My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So here goes: I'm trying to find a friend, a lover, a partner someone to share the journey or at least parts of it with. Someone who has their own stories to tell while taking a break from a journey or in the process of starting a new one. My life is simple at the moment, I have a job, I volunteer, I spend as much time outdoors as I can. It's quiet, sometimes in a good way but mostly too quiet. It would be nice to have someone to scramble some eggs for. I like a lot and proficient at little. I'm reassessing much about my life, my own journey, what I want, how to make it work from this point on, how to make it as simple as possible and appreciate the small stuff that comes my way. I'm trying to make myself heathy, eat right and exercise and be more conscious of what I need to be healthy and remain so. This is important to me and in important in a perspective "friend, lover or partner." Things that catch my attention: Intelligence, spontaneity, being quirky, open minded, demur, empathetic, liberal, confident, non materialistic, healthy, insatiable, and diffidently dances to the beat of her own drummer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I own and manage business property that I lease out for a living. I spend most of my free time volunteering at the WNC Nature Center and want to concentrate on animal care and wildlife conservation as much as I can for now and the future. Volunteering is important to me and I hope to do more in the future. I'm learning to live a simple, productive, and hopefully happy life where I need much less but enjoy more.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Art, talking, biking, wondering, hiking, birdwatching (waterfowl), getting bored with the obvious, figure drawing, getting my line tangled, talking to the animals, getting mauled by weasels, learning the names of ducks, helping out, massages, kissing, walking, searching, avoiding crowds, taking the back roads, telling stories under the covers, freckle worship, waking someone up, taking charge at the right time, losing things, not shaving, eating, eating with my fingers, forgetting to eat, reading, reading about what to eat, finding things for smoothies, folding laundry, sharing the good times, leaving discreet hickies and living live as the square peg in the round hole.
