My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
22, UNC graduate. Drifting about, trying to figure all this out and make myself the best I can be. Inquisitive, sometimes impulsive, often quiet, unsure of myself more than I'd ever care to admit, looking to just chat or maybe have a nice cup of coffee/tea.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished with undergrad at UNC, now deciding what's next. Generally leading a life of fact-finding and self-uncovering.

I've made a big decision recently to get serious about exercise and making it a mandatory part of my life. I've dabbled in gaining muscle/being generally more fit, but whenever school gets tough I fall off. So I'm getting into running/cycling, swimming (still can't get my form right...), weight training, rock climbing and hiking. That, in addition to the rowing addiction I have from my rower days.

Any guys who can be a rock climbing or hiking partner are a plus.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, foreign languages (I guess), listening to people. Cooking (I'm getting there), reading, navigating the Interwebs. Procrastination (dear Lord how good I am at this).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair, or my general similarity to Michael Cera. I'm not great with first impressions, but I am working on it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Really big into DFW at the moment, I've got a running list of books I must read before I die. John Green as well, but I'm generally not into YA books otherwise. I generally don't have life-altering books that I keep on my shelf, always ready to quote, but the classics like Great Gatsby, Catcher in the Rye, The Bell Jar, anything by Delillo or Vonnegut, all of those school-time goodies.

Movies: The second you ask me what my favourite movie is, I'm bound to forget all the movies I've ever seen. Such is the case now.

Shows: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Hour, Merlin, Misfits, 30 Rock, Dexter, Hannibal, House of Cards, Teen Wolf (just for the guilty pleasure of it)

Food: Vegetarian. I'm big on vegetarian food. Not that I mind if you eat meat, but I don't. Therefore Thai, Mexican, and Indian are big on my list.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends/nice people to brighten my world, books, writing, chocolate, tea, and the Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The world and my place in it. The incomprehensible vastness of the universe and of time itself. How I will make the world just a tiny bit better. How I will enjoy my brief time here. Why I can't write more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually I am not one for clubs. I regret going to them 97% of the time. I'm much more interested in getting to know people in a quiet place, perhaps a bar or café or at home. If that makes me a homebody, then I'm a homebody.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes my libido is out of control, and I don't like it.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're intelligent, intriguing, can hold your half of the conversation or more. If you do things with your life that add colour and character to your personality. If you're positive and don't always complain or are down (though once in a while is okay). If you're somewhat attractive, because that does matter, though not as much as people say it does. If you're serious about getting to know people, finding friends, or finding someone to date long-term.
