My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm a laidback, easy going person and I can make ("almost" as I
recently discovered hehe) anyone laugh and enjoy meeting new
people. I'm a little goofy, but in an endearing way I guess because
most people feel very comfortable opening up to me after just a
little while. Over the last couple of years I've paid more
attention to myself - my choices in life, my health, and
appearance. I learned how to dress but I don't consider myself
superficial or vain. I'm a big-time animal lover and I will always
offer to help a friend who needs anything.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
My career path has always been information tech but I've bounced
from environmental non-profit orgs to international corporations
and now to a smaller laidback employee-owned company. It's a great
position and I'm pretty young to have it, I guess I'm a little
proud of that. It's nice to finally be proud of a job and not just
call it "what pays the bills". I've also taken advantage of the
chances I've had to travel lately - still within the states and
Canada so far but I can't wait to go overseas!
I'm really good at Propose an edit
making people laugh, public speaking, listening to problems,
shooting pool (ok, not that good, but getting there), finding my
way around a new city without getting lost. I'm a terrible cook but
a delivery menu connoisseur!

Nothing, The Kevin Mitnick books about social engineering, Call me
a dork but the Mike Wallace autobiography was pretty
fascinating
Fav movies: The Goonies - hands down favorite movie.
Pump Up
The Volume was a big part of my "tween" years haha. Also, I'm a
big fan of horror
movies (for nostalgic reasons I guess) I've got a pretty impressive
collection but I own dozens and dozens of movies of all
types.
Music: The list is too long to put in here but for the most part
it's indie
rock, britpop, punk, electropop, ska, reggae, classic rock.... I listen to
everything and can talk about music for hours. To toss a few bands
out there that are recent favs: The Cribs, Los Campesinos!, Strung Out,
Postal
Service, Kate
Nash, Vampire Weekend, Peelander-Z,
Aubrey Debauchery, Bishop Allen, Glassjaw, New End Original/One Line
drawing, The Hot Chip, Less Than Jake, The Alkaline Trio, Architecture
In Helsinki, etc...
Food: I love Baltimore seafood! Steamed crabs, shrimp, crabcakes!
I'm a pescatarian which means a
"cheater-vegitarian" who eats seafood :-D
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
hmmm, six things... ok, I'm assuming there is no deserted island
involved here:
1) my smartphone! It's my phone, mp3/movie player, book viewer,
video/still camera, map/GPS, email/web/messenger connection,
appointment/contact book and even guitar tuner! and now, it's not
an iphone ;-)
2) crab cakes. What can I say, I'm a Baltimoron
3) my favorite pair of jeans
... I sat at number 4 for a few minutes and I honestly can't think
of anything else. Between technology advancing and my materialism
shrinking, I guess I don't need that much to be happy!
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
the future, music, witty comebacks I should have thought up hours
ago at the appropriate time!
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Friday nights aren't really typical for me. Sometimes there are
bands playing around Baltimore or DC, sometimes I'm shooting pool
with friends, I could be visiting my brother in NYC or parents in
Tampa, maybe a date or maybe lounging on the balcony with the dog
and a drink.

I've never learned how to play poker! I feel that much less of a
man for not being able to play the card game of mobsters and
cowboys.
