It turns out that life isn't actually easy. It is very much unlike the game of the same name. You don't happen to land on a square and end up with a spouse and children and a house. There is no path on a board to follow. We need to figure it out as we go, making mistakes, learning, getting better, growing. Sure, life is hard, but doesn't it make the good moments even better? I'm looking for someone to share those good moments with, and the bad. Someone to debate the virtues of a Billy bookcase vs. an Expedit one and to help organize those silly little wooden pegs that you always end up loosing. Someone who doesn't mind wasting a Saturday trying to figure out how to sous vide with nothing more than a ziplock bag and some basic equipment. Someone who doesn't mind debating the finer plot holes of the current blockbuster or exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

I'm smart, sarcastic, funny and charming. I seek the same.

I watch a lot of home improvement and cooking shows. They tend to make me feel like a superhero that can refinish cabinets and make souffles. Unfortunately, this is not true.

I also like Homeland, Newsroom, True Blood, Girls, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Daily Show, and Colbert Report.

I read a lot of books, I am currently re-reading the Song of Ice and Fire and I am always looking for something new and interesting to read.

I constantly listen to music. My tastes are more popular than alternative.

I dislike horror movies. I like all other movies.

I'm an adventurous eater (clearly) and I love to find new cuisines to explore.

Family, friends, diet coke, books, iphone, sleep.
