My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an overzealous, straight-talking, self-assured, quick-moving and even quicker-witted, type-A person, who still knows how to let loose and have fun. I make quick decisions and trust my instincts. I'm a problem solver and never assume something is too broken to fix.

I love doing new things and I'm fairly competitive - I hate to lose - but I accept that sometimes losing helps you win.

You can usually find me running the streets of capitol hill, hiking mountains, exploring the city, enjoying a glass of wine, or, most likely, consuming caffeine and enjoying a job that both exasperates and fulfills me, simultaneously.

I'm a secret nerd - I love sci-fi and fantasy and gaming - but I don't let it consume my life. My humor is sarcastic, and my tongue can be sharp, but I'm never mean spirited.

I've lived in Seattle for two and a half years, when I moved here from my hometown of Pittsburgh, after a stint in Philadelphia to get my degree. I love meeting new people and have managed, despite all reputation to the contrary, to make some amazing friends here in Seattle. I used to like my large, loud and crazy family, but now that I live on the opposite coast, I love them.

I am looking for a man who doesn't take himself - or life - too seriously, but knows when to get the job done. We can work out the other details.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The best I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pulling out obscure triva and having at least cursory knowledge about a great number of things, which is great at pub quiz nights, slightly less great at 1:30 am on a Tuesday when I should really be going sleep but can't stop thinking about something I had read that day.
The first things people usually notice about me

Vast and varied:

I'm constantly listening to music that's all over the map. I have a not so secret love of musicals.

My television is smart, but not snooty. I like Homeland, Newsroom, True Blood, Girls, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Elementary, The Walking Dead, Adventure Time, The Daily Show and Colbert Report. I consistently watch Agents of Shield, in hope that it will be better. Sometimes I abandon all of these and don't turn on my TV for a week.

I read a lot of books, and I just finished the second Patrick Rothfuss novel.

I have a flirtation with movies. I'm not a fan of the horror genre, but tend to watch anything else.

I'm an adventurous eater and I love to go to new resturants around town.

I majoritively play games on my iphone these days.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, diet coke, books, iphone, sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to avoid washing dishes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The best part about a Friday Night is that it is rarely typical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have, on several occasions, lied to Federal Marshals.

You like beautiful, smart, vivacious women and don't mind that sometimes they feel like none of those things.
