I'm just a normal white guy from the burbs. I live and work downtown and like to try new things and willing to try anything once. I've lived in a few locations around the country and ended up back in the Chicago area.

I just bought a new condo in Printer's Row just south of the Loop. I like being able to walk to work and all of the trains. My friends and family like the new guest bedroom ;) My cat appreciates the running room.

I work for an engineering firm doing design, management and the in house legal work. I'm also involved in our sustainability and do work on the side helping companies become more "green" and community friendly.

I've got some talents...I can turn any comment into a sexual innuendo :-P I'm really good at board games and trivia. I can make amazing lego ships for my nephews. I'm pretty good at making sense of weird situations and explaining things logically that seem messed up.

I'm guessing my hair...but no idea really. I guess I should walk towards a mirror and see what I notice first...hold on. Yup...hair.

I have a pretty wide range is tastes for all of these.

Books - I tend to read a lot of non-fiction and history, but love Freakonomics, Michael Chrichton books, some main stream fiction and just started the "Game of Thrones" series.

Movies - I like all the typical guy movies...Sci-Fi, Action, Comedy, etc. I really like any good movie that has an actual story. There are some really popular movies that I think are VERY overrated like Titanic and Avatar.

Shows - I'm a big fan of comedies on TV...30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny, Archer, etc...

Music - My Ipod is a massive mix of pretty much everything except couhtry/western (Johnny Cash is the exception).

Food - I'm not too picky and can usually find something good to eat anywhere I go.

Food, water, oxygen, sunlight, human contact....and slurpees.

If I had to list 6 actual "things" I'd go with:
1. Family
2. Internet Access (so i can get the email you're about to send me!)
3. Transportation (Car/Train/Bike)
4. My new comfy bed
5. Companionship (just my cat right now)
6. Slurpees (still love me!)

...if we're alone in the universe....why I come off as "too nice"...what my cat does while I'm at work...

either out drinking with friends or hanging at home relaxing. Would love to have some company.
