My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Heads up: I'm out travelling southeast Asia right now. Back in October. Feel free to shoot a message, but responses may be erratic.**

I live for craft beers, late night cartoons, photography, film, sci-fi, bdsm, hip hop, design, and discussions on politics, psychology, and sex-positivity.

I have a love affair with the city. Whether it's walking through the downtown core late at night, finding a crazy amazing restaurant hidden on some small street, climbing rooftops, or crashing a random party, I'm always trying to find something interesting.

I lead a wholly public life, and it's pretty easy to stalk me on twitter or instagram:

My zombie contingency plan involves a case of whiskey, a stolen plane, and a flight to iqaluit. Let me know if you want dibs on a seat.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Eating at five-star restaurants in a one-star fashion.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making it through the subway doors right before they close in my face.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The terrible obsession with that's-what-she-said jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Coupland, Heinlein, Asimov, Dawkins. Love anthropology and sociology, so anything along the lines of Freakonomics and Sex at Dawn too.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inglourious Basterds, Oldboy, UP, Fight Club, Akira, Spirited Away, Waking Life, The Fountain, V for Vendetta, Garden State, The Royal Tenenbaums, Children of Men, Moneyball, The Social Network, The Ides of March, Shame, The Fall, Senna, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, C'était un Rendezvous, The Skin I Live In, Stranger than Fiction

TV: Breaking Bad, Top Gear, Arrested Development, Archer, Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, The Mind of a Chef.

Music: Eclectic. Right now, I'm listening to: Sekuoia, Fly Russia, Cashmere Cat, Moa Pillar, Ratatat, Ta-Ku, Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Abdominal, Cinematic Orchestra, Drake, Weeknd, Gorillaz, Angel Haze, Sigur Ros, and Shad.

Food: Honestly, everything. I'm fairly adventurous eater. Right now, I'm on a tear to find Toronto's best ramen after visiting Japan a few months ago and having a religious experience with a bowl of Tonkotsu. (So far, Sansotei is the hands-down winner. Any other suggestions?)

One-half of me is Persian, and I will plow through a plate of Ghormeh Sabzi at a moment's notice. It is my comfort food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Domestic lagers. Ice cold, on the patio, in the summertime.
- Coconut-based foods. (Desserts, drinks, pastries... you name it.)
- Boardgame nights playing Settlers, Dominion, and King of Tokyo.
- Bumping an ugly (or two).
- Reddit. Hopelessly addicted.
- Breathtaking views from tall buildings.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Dinosaurs, jetpacks, dinosaurs wearing jetpacks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think The OC was a quality piece of television.
