My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Im Steven, I moved from Canada to Ireland about 5 years ago, and have been all over the place since. I love my politics, and I'm a proud socialist, feminist, communist, Marxist and all that jazz , and have a lot of very strong opinions, which sometimes get me into some sticky situations with people who disagree. But it doesnt stop me trying!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Studying Politics and Sociology in Uni. of Limerick, and somehow getting a job out of it. When I'm not late night essay writing I'm talking/shouting politics with my mates and waving about bundles of paper at them.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making milkshakes, nachos and watching telly. Don't really have any natural talents that I'm aware of, although I'm sure I've got one buried deep down.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It used to be my shocking mane of hair, but now it's usually some sort of leaflet i'm handing them. when we get to talking its my inability to sit still and constantly chat on pointless things. but once you get past that, I'm actually quite a calm and relaxed person. Then they get me onto politics.....

Harry Potter (should be taught in school), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (the book and the movie) anything by Arthur C Clarke, anything political, particularly if it's left wing, Trotsky, Lenin, Marx, One Day, The Great Gatsby, any of the Sherlock Holmes, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, anything really. except twilight, not twilight.

Star Wars and Toy Story, only movies any one will ever need! anything Studio Ghibli, definitely mononoke and Porco Rosso though. This is England, Land and Freedom, Matewan, Avatar (tis a guilty pleasure), V For Vendetta, The Big Lebowski, Searching for Sugarman. once again, anything but Twilight to be honest.

I cant live without my music, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles, Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac, Rory Gallagher, Sex PIstols, The Slits, Clash, Black Flag, The Pogues, Metric, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Specials, and anything Northern Soulish
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The couch
A strange little plant I keep in my room
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics and how we're going to get ourselves out of this mess and into a world where we can all live equally, what my degree will actually do, and all that strange stuff as well, How many roads MUST a man walk down?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
reading and listening to music, or chatting with my mates over a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once stole a lolly from the shops. And never told them. but no, the internet is no place for overly personal stuff.
