My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My life is wonderful and I'm blessed to have it. The world isn't perfect but I personally have nothing to complain about. Steady career, roof over my head, interesting hobbies and family and friends to spend it with. What more could a guy ask for? I suppose a relationship wouldn't hurt!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Left brain wise I'm an IT consultant. Right brain wise I'm a bookworm and Literature graduate. How and why I got into the tech industry straight out of a humanities major, I'm not sure myself -- serendipity I suppose :)

Yoga 5 days a week going on 2 years now. It's the ultimate palette cleanser! I also practice tai chi.

When I'm not in the office or wrapped up in a book I enjoy activities that engage the senses like bicycle rides and bodyboarding. I also love all types of dancing - social, choreographed or just freestyle!

I don't drink or do drugs, not because I'm morally against it, but because it's not compatible with my body and mind anymore. Trust me, I can still have a blast sober! This makes me the perfect DD.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making massive burritos to feed the hungry (myself mostly), laughing for its own sake, and waking up before dawn.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My mood, I can't help but wear my heart on my sleeve (or face) and that makes me a terrible liar.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am a hip hop omnivore. 80s, 90s, 2000s to present, I'll give any album a spin.

Favorite non hip-hop things that give me chills:

Miles Davis
Purity Ring
Franz Kafka
Gilles Delueze
The Clippers
A good story, fiction or otherwise
A great rhyme scheme (oops)
A gorgeous woman
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't pray. But I wake up every morning thinking of at least 3 things I'm thankful for.

I don't follow a religion. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't believe in the importance of spiritual fulfillment.

I don't have a dog. But my 14 year old cat thinks it's a mastiff.

I don't eat red meat (a lot). But I do love seafood, and crab legs in particular.

I don't drink coffee. But I am a loose leaf tea addict.

I don't take selfies. But I'm really happy I have friends who can frame me in the right light.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Financial independence and self-growth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Taking dance class, eating ramen or sleeping early because <3 memory foam mattress.

I'm making the effort in learning to be more spontaneous. So in theory I'm down for anything.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well I'm an INFJ. What this means in practice is that I depend a lot on my intuition (those inner "ah-ha!" moments) and the feelings I get about other people.

With that said if your intuition and your gut feelings tell you I'm worth messaging, then listen to that little voice in your head (or your heart) and go for it!
