My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Left brain wise I am an IT consultant. I entered the field on a whim searching for internships on Craigslist. I was hired as an analyst in 2013 and have made a full-time career out of it.

Right brain wise I'm a literature alumnus. I wrote my senior thesis on hip hop. Before college I never even liked hip hop. I lived with two roommates who loved it and through osmosis the music stuck with me. It also got me writing poetry again.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I take swing dance classes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a yoga enthusiast currently working on handstands as a life goal.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile.

- Purity Ring hits a sweet spot for me, between the beluga-esque echoes of the production and lyrics about bodies.
- Pusha T. I admire his tenacity; he's been rapping about cocaine for 10 years and still does it better than anyone else.
- Future because he is the future, and because his raspy voice reminds me of Bob Dylan.

- Tofu, avocados, black beans, and broccoli make up my daily lunch. I am a weekday vegetarian.
- Some chefs spend their entire careers perfecting one kind of meal. For me that is the almighty wrap, whether it's a breakfast burrito or vegan peanut tofu wrap.

- Beer wise I've always been a pale ale person. It makes me happy.
- I cannot resist a good cabarnet. Or a bad one either. I can't tell the difference.

- Anything Mike Judge, I tell you what.
- Parks and Recreation on infinite rerun.

- Neal Stephenson. The grand scope of his novels allow me to get lost in a vicarious adventure for a few precious hours while learning a thing or two about science/history.
- Gilles Deleuze. If you know him that's an instant dealmaker! I do not follow religion but a Deleuzian worldview is the closest thing I have to a dogma.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bodyweight fitness is my primary form of exercise. At heart I am a minimalist and enjoy the idea of developing functional strength in everyday situations.

My Nook is my home away from home. Reading keeps me sharp and exposing myself to new information makes me feel like a genius.

My passport. I acquired it recently to go on a cruise and I now know first hand why people love to travel.

My family. We are small but keep it tight.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately I've been thinking a lot about the concept of joy -- which doesn't mean being happy all the time, but rather saying "yes" to the world no matter what it throws at you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
On the Myers-Briggs scale I'm an INFJ. My strongest trait is that I am very open minded. This works against me because sometimes my brains fall out.
