My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Most people have no problems talking about themselves to no end, yet I am sure the majority of us struggle when asked to provide their self-summary. Here it goes anyway!

I'm a kind, caring and compassionate individual at heart, though my personality doesn't immediately present itself as such. Oh yeah, I'm also a big geek. People always say they like to have fun, but who doesn't? But I like to make fun. Sure, that involves playful teasing and what not, but I like to create situations or take on new challenges and trials in the pursuit of enjoyment and the occasional self-enrichment.

I like to laugh, create and share in the good things that we make from life. I enjoy challenging myself and setting goals, even if my ambition sometimes never drives me to complete them. There's always something to strive for and improve upon - but enjoyment should never take a back seat to it. So above all else, I try to make the best of the opportunities life offers me. To get out and have fun with friends whenever possible. To travel and try new things and to live a life rich in experience and laughter.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying my best to enjoy the heck out of it whenever I'm not working.

I'll never turn my nose up at an adventure and I'm always trying to learn something new or do something I haven't done before.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Games, memorizing useless information, geeking out, camping and being outdoorsy, sarcasm, organizing gatherings, making pies, trolling, overthinking everything, procrastinating, being immune to hangovers, photography, reaching objects on the high shelves, trying to do more things than I have time for.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I'm tall, I've got red hair, I've got a smirk on my face and I'm doing something mischievous. I'm a little out of place in a new setting until I find my stride and then everything falls into place.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Most sci-fi books, or history books will appeal to me. But throw any good book my way and chances are I will blaze through it. I last read the first two Hunger Games books. Time to start on the last and then finish Harry Potter.

Music: Preferred music would be modern or alternative, but there's simply too much to choose from. I don't care much for country or rap though. I like Audioslave, All-American Rejects, Cold, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Puddle of Mudd, Eve 6, Daughtry, Green Day, Staind, Sum 41, The Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul Oakenfold, oldies, various soundtracks, etc. Lindsey Stirling has recently been blowing my mind.

Food: Mmm, food.. nom nom nom. I love Indian food, sushi, pho, and many other dishes. I'll try just about anything, though I've reached a non-consumption agreement with shellfish.

TV & Movies: I love just about anything with "Star" in the title. BSG, Archer (this is quite possibly the most awesome thing I have ever seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7HkG6OSo3E ), Scrubs, Adult Swim (ATHF and Robot Chicken rule), Breaking Bad, Red Dwarf, Firefly, Walking Dead, Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the RingsTrilogy, Doctor Who, Mythbusters, Family Guy, Dexter, Band of Brothers, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, History channel stuff, The Daily Show, I like Sci-fi and comedy, but I can't turn down a good drama either.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends <3
My computer
A good, hoppy IPA
The Resistance (it's a game!)
Cats
And the last one's a toss up between Duct tape and Legos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The inevitable heat-death of the universe.

What I'm going to do to fill up my next free weekend. The pros and cons of doing something fun versus something productive. Which superpower I'd like to have the most. Tacos.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most likely I'm either taking it easy and relaxing after the work week or out having a good time with friends. In watching a movie, out for drinks or a meal, playing some board games with friends - generally something fun!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is no longer "The most private thing I'm willing to admit" section. It is my "fun facts" section. Deal with it!

- My physician says I'm closer to 6'3" than I am to 6'2"... and I kind of wish I was shorter...
- I've never had a hangover - and it hasn't been for a lack of trying.
- My D&D group refers to itself as "The Order of the Twig".
- If I was a decent artist, my crowing achievement would be a Yin Yang of Tigger and Eeyore.
- I drive a Subaru (no surprise there really) which I like to call "Rooster".
- The wallpaper for my computer is Calvin & Hobbes themed.
