I don't think anyone ever listens though; they know we have all the fun.

You've probably already seen me around here somewhere. Maybe aimlessly wandering around at PAX, enjoying drinks with friends at a local hangout, or having a laugh at a comedy show. I'm hard to miss either way, if the tallness didn't give it away, then the red hair definitely stands out. I imagine that if it were luminescent that it would be easy for low-flying planes to avoid me. Either that, or they'd try to land on me! Thankfully my hair is not luminescent, so I don't have to worry about THAT.

I'm endlessly pursuing the enjoyment of this reality; learning new things, revisiting the old, stuffing in new experiences whenever I can. I'm ambitious in so many directions that I sometimes don't know where to start. I'm a geek, I'm a nerd, but completely awesome about it. Often I find myself packing my weekends with far more activities than time will allow me to do! Time and I are always wrestling for control of my destiny; I'm determined to win even though it has the upper hand!

If I've had my fill of fun I'll find myself being more creative than I would have imagined; toying with ideas in my mind, trying to design and create whatever my imagination can concoct. Only some of them will come to fruition because of the aforementioned eternal struggle with time. I'm actively seeking superheroes with super powers that can help me in this conflict!

At the end of the day though, I like nothing better than relaxing with friends and the other people whose company I enjoy. Philosophizing late into the night, playing games of all sorts, sharing a drink and bouncing more ideas than a ball pit. The people that know me well describe me as spunky, extroverted (even though I disagree), playful, provocative, a bit outrageous, cheerful, goofy, stimulating, silly and sarcastic. Underneath a somewhat rough exterior they also know me to be generous, caring, kind, thoughtful, honest and courteous.

I'm somewhat of an enigma though, a mystery which I am quite content to leave unsolved. I'm pretty sure I could have my own meme.

Entirely too much! Between work and education (so close to being done that I can taste it) I find myself with just enough free time to let loose and enjoy myself. I'm working in IT though with other offers on the table, I'm not sure if that'll stick as my career.

For funsies, I enjoy my professional side projects (may become my work soon, which is a prospect which greatly excites and terrifies me). I'm often squeezing every drop of fun out of the time I spend with my friends; going on adventures, board games nights, LAN parties, D&D, and all sorts of geeky outlets, plus some decidedly non-geeky ones!

Games, memorizing useless information, geeking out & most geeky things, camping and being outdoorsy (yes, you read that right), sarcasm, geeking out, hosting parties, making pies, trolling, overthinking everything, procrastinating, being immune to hangovers, growing awesome red facial hair, noticing small details, writing, being a leader, finding the most random things to say, mixing with non-geeks (you'd never know!), photography, reaching objects on the high shelves, seeing the brighter side of things, trying to do more things than I have time for.

I'm also great at fixing computers, but that doesn't mean I'll fix yours! :P

Probably that I'm tall, I've got red hair, a prominent nose and a smile on my face. My infectious good attitude, my ability to mesh with people and groups (both greatly enhanced by alcoholic beverages). Some say that it's the eyes though!

Sometimes I can be a little slow to warm up though, I guess it depends!

Books: Most sci-fi books, or history books will appeal to me. I don't go out of my way for them since I'm generally pretty deep in required reading material anyway. Still, throw a good book my way and chances are I will blaze through it. The last book I read was "Kingpin". Quite the window into the world of hacking and cyber-security, not to mention a good read.

Music: Preferred music would be modern or alternative, but then you can also catch me listening to some other really random things here and there. I'm not a huge fan of country or rap though. I like Audioslave, Alter Bridge, All-American Rejects, Prime STH, Cold, Anberlin, Keane, Poets of the Fall, Foo Fighters, Fuel, Pearl Jam, Puddle of Mudd, Eve 6, Daughtry, Great Northern, The Killers, Disturbed, Green Day, Staind, Sum 41, The Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul Oakenfold, some techno/trance, Mozart, Beethoven... This list could go on forever, but lets just say that Pandora is my best friend.

Food: Mmm, food.. nom nom nom. I love Indian food, but I'm not a huge fan of shellfish though. I like sushi, pho, and mostly anything that's burdened with an abundance of taste. I'll probably try just about anything once. The weirdest thing I've eaten is probably sea cucumber or moon snail. I can't really reccomend them.

TV: I love just about anything with "Star" in the title. BSG, Archer, Scrubs, Adult Swim (ATHF and Robot Chicken rule), Red Dwarf, Firefly, Walking Dead, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Mythbusters, Family Guy, Dexter, Band of Brothers, History channel stuff, The Daily Show- you get the idea (or maybe not).

Movies: Star Wars, Star Trek, Serenity, Twelve Monkeys, Pitch Black, Bourne Trilogy, Lord of the RingsTrilogy, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, Saving Private Ryan, American History X, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Contact, Crash, Eternal Sunshine, etc. Anything with a decent IMDB rating or Fresh Tomatoes.

As a geek and a gamer, I can think of few things better than playing an excellent game. Not to the exclusion of everything else, but I will let myself get sucked in from time to time. I'm mostly a social gamer though; I find myself enjoying board games and playing games with others far more than I do alone! I stay away from the MMO's however. I enjoy my social life, thank you very much.

Favorite board game is "The Resistance". It's freakin' awesome.

Awesome things to do, what I'll be doing over the weekend. The future, the universe and all sorts of endless possibilities. Working over the details of my next big side project. The lyrics for my internal theme song. Who knows! My thoughts are all over the place!

I don't know! My Friday nights aren't typical!

I could be playing board games with friends, attending a concert or a comedy show, watching a movie, out and about, or maybe in playing computer games with some buddies.

More than likely, just enjoying the hell out of myself.

When it's cold, I'll wear an ATHF (Aqua Teen...) beanie, it's silly, but full of awesome! I used to regliously play MUDs.

Now for something more random; my desk at work includes some dinosaurs to play with when I get bored - combined with the hair I imagine this gives me a very Washe-like appearance. (reference-recognition bonus points available). However, despite many "inevitable betrayals", no alliance cruisers have disrupted my workday. Sigh.

You possibly have a thing for fiery redheads, or perhaps you like the dashingly tall guys? Maybe you're looking for just the right amount of awesome. I just might be a trifecta in that case.
