My self-summary
Introverted extrovert, fun, crafty, not-too-reckless, observer, passionate, driven.
What I’m doing with my life
Solving problems I'm passionate about. Wandering in wonderment. Improving myself. Working on what's important VS what isn't (surprisingly hard). Collecting creative outlets. Signing up for a little bit more than I should. Writing. Living ! Building a museum in my mind.

I make films and take pictures and work with computers to make beautiful things. I love where art and technology intersect. Cinematography, lighting, design, expression. Writing is another passion as is collaborating on fun projects with friends, making cool things with great people. What's better than that?

Creating things. Fixing up an old sailboat. Infrared photography. Cooking. Cinema. Walking without destination. Meeting people far outside your demographic and having long conversations with them. Wondering how to make the world a better place.

Travel. I try to take a month or two off every year or so and explore. In the last year I've hit the Dominican, Honduras, Sweden and Holland, which were all wonderfully dissimilar places. Stockholm would be a great city to live for a little while. Everyone is so frightfully put together without even appearing to have tried to be that way. Sled dogging up north is next, then Costa Rica, then another movie.

I built my stereo by hand, in a spare-nothing, 'I'm gonna make the best gosh-darn stereo there is' kind of pursuit. Wood sawing, gluing, amp designing, crossover designing, long sheep's-wool sourcing, insulator weaving... I even used pure silver for all the wiring since it's the best conductor. It took me two years. is that crazy? It sounds pretty good.

I'm mildly internet famous for coining the collective term of a group of pegasi. The term for a group of unicorns was already defined as "a blessing". Pegasi was open so I coined it "a precious". A precious of pegasi. Just saying it makes me a bit queasy like I'm barfing up purple glitter in my mouth.
I’m really good at
Listening. Fixing things. Making stuff look good. Most things I set my mind to.
The first things people usually notice about me
First the obvious observations; tall, alert, gentle.

Secondly, it seems that people feel pretty comfortable around me. I'm saying this because a good friend told me this just the other day. "You know why everyone spills their beans around you is because you have this strange ability to make them feel totally relaxed" ENFJ at work, it seems. Honest, I don't use this power for evil.

The mechanics of funny. I know that sounds dastardly, like the deconstruction of wonder, but if you write it really helps to understand the underpinnings of humor. This is not the same as explaining jokes! Which is so unfunny that I find it funny. See 'Anti-humor'

Also, I spend a lot of time thinking, truly picturing, things I want to be and holy bejesus does it work. Physical manifestations of a clear mind. You've got to put it out there to get it back.

You're smart. You're creative. You're proud of stuff you've done. You have a (reasonably) clear heart full of integrity and sunshine. You're happy and optimistic about the future. You're looking to find someone you feel is your equal, because then well we're on the same frequency.
