I've lived a joy-filled life, with good friends, wildly varied experiences, and the kind of can't breath, eye-tearing belly laughs, that can't come often enough.

I've lived on both coasts and the middle of the country. I moved back to DC after 8 years in Los Angeles, and am excited to explore and learn about all the fun spots DC has to offer. Most importantly, I hope to find someone to run roughshod over this town with.

I am a happy fun guy, who values a nice tie, and a nice pair of dress shoes, as much as I love my jeans vans and a hoodie. Though my hands are now soft and clean from jobs that require keyboards, I know how to man a shovel as well as anyone out there and I know the proper form for chopping wood.

When meeting people, I like to ask what they do for fun before asking who they work for. I'll let you merge on the freeway and I open the door for strangers. And though I'm pretty laid back, you'll know when I care or have an opinion.

I love live music enough that I worked as an usher/security at a music venue for two years just to see as many shows as I could. Was an amazing experience.

I've spent time in forty-seven of fifty states (I don't count airports in which case I've been to 48). I love to road trip, see the sights, check out the local dives, eat the local food, and meet the locals. I'm the guy who sits down in an establishment and can strike up a conversation with the people at the bar, and leave like we're old friends.

If you're noticing me, its cause I'm laughing and having a great time. Then you'll note my red hair... Then you'll notice that I'm just an all around nice guy.

BOOKS: Hitchhiker's Guide Trilogy is probably my favorite of all time. I am about to dive into a 3000 page series about the civil rights era. I am a bit of an autodidact.

MOVIES: The Big Lebowski, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, About a Boy, Cars, Layer Cake, Drive!, The Princess Bride, Saving Private Ryan, Act of Valor.

TV: Top Gear... Head and shoulders above any other show on television.

FOOD: I like all kinds of food, trying new things, and exploring new places. Brunch.

MUSIC: I love almost all kinds of music. I listen to KCRW as much as I can. I'll see almost any show at least once, from metal to country, rockabilly, jazz, whatever. I love just about anything with a horn section, and/or a beat.
