My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess it's apparent that I'm a pretty big geek. No point in hiding it, and why should I? Being a geek is way more fun when you just accept it. And if I can meet some similarly geeky people out here, so much the better!
Just a shame that I'm pretty shy too, and not too outgoing at the moment. I mostly keep to myself and I'm typically a better listener than talker. But I might be a bit more open and willing to try new things if I had the right person to try them with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just making my own way through, doing my own thing and not letting too many things get me down. And working my way through Art College too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, writing, playing the drums (On the rare occasions that I have access to a kit), discussing things with people, cheering people up, doing funny voices and maybe singing too. And apparently I give a killer back-massage too ;D!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My Canadian accent, which has been a real conversation starter since I was a kid, and my very long hair and beard. If you can't stand beards, we are NOT gonna get along.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Animated- Dan Vs., Ed Edd n Eddy, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (Yeah, I'm a brony), Codename Kids Next Door, Death Note, Ghost Hunt, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, etc.

Non-animated- Star Trek, Doctor Who, Twin Peaks.

Movies: Too many specific films, so my favourite TYPES of movies are B-movies, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, animated, musicals. A few favourite films are Inframan, 5 Centimetres Per Second, The Big Lebowski, Evil Dead 2, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Neverending Story, The Land Before Time.

Books: If it's got horror, sci-fi or fantasy, I'll probably give it a try, my favourite authors beng J.R.R Tolkien, Dan Abnett and H.P Lovecraft. A variety of comics too, if you can count those as books.

Music: I mostly stick with metal, and the more over-the-top, the better. Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Dragonland, Blind Guardian, Avantasia, Stratovarius, all that good stuff. But if the mood grabs me I'll put on some 80s pop, jazz, folk, electronic or some soundtrack.

Food: I'll generally eat it if it has a strong flavour and/or it has meat in it. Pizza, pasta, bacon, ramen and fajitas are all good, but nothing beats a good bit of jam/honey/marmite/cheese on toast!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My long hair
My skills
My dear little dinosaur Pleo (Yes I know he's just a robot, but let me dream!!)
Optimism (Otherwise I would have probably killed myself by now!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Some of the strangest things, like 'why is it that houses burn down, but paper burns up?', or 'how do they get non-stick surfaces to stick to the pans?'.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sprawled out on the sofa or on my bed with a bowl of snacks and a drink, watching a good (Or at least, so-bad-it's-good) movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was 18 by the time I actually kissed a girl.

Basically if you like what you see and want to know more. I'm up fo casual get-togethers, a quick chat, hanging out sometime, catching a movie together, maybe even dating, it's all good.

Bonus points if you're any kind of geek. Anime fan, sci-fi fan, trekkie, brony, cartoon lover, gamer, fantasy lover, comic fan, etc. If you're any one of these, we'll definitely get along :)
