Hi, I'm Brandon.

What makes me unique is my complete inability to see what is genuinely unique about me (in other words, this is a tough question). I'm a really good problem solver I guess, and im really good at figuring out what people need and get it to them. I also have the unusual combination of being rather analytical but also highly empathetic and intuitive. I don't know if I'd call that unique but its some of what makes me...well, me. I also have a strong sarcastic streak.

My hobbies usually revolve around nerdy stuff like reading, science fiction, politics, cooking and gadgetry. I have a little pug, Kandi, also known as my little piglet( she kind of oinks)

My goal in life is to be able to have more moments of joy and to help my fellow people. If I can die with people who love me knowing that I gave help to people who needed it, then I will be content.

But enough about me, what about you?

Trying to help people in need. I work in social services. I want to use my life to do the right thing, even though I don't always know what that is or how to do it.

Cooking, tech stuff, and understanding people. At least I like to think so. I'm also really good at taking care of people. I've done it most of my life and it is even my job.

Is my hair. Can't deny the red. And my blue eyes. The red beard too.

Favorite books? Contact, the dune series, anything political.

Movies? I like documentaries like 8: the Mormon proposition, too big to fail, who killed the electric car, that sort of stuff. Thrillers like Taken are good too. I love love love sci fi. If it Has the word "star" in it I probably love it, star trek, star wars, stargate, battle star. I've yet to see a Pixar movie I didn't like, with the exception of cars (the gluttonous consumption of gasoline should not be glorified for kids and Larry the cable guy needs to be set on fire).

I have a love hate relationship with reality tv. Generally I don't like the competition ones, unless it's between real professionals like project runway, top chef, or ru Paul's drag race. If its just about reality professionals then I'm not interested (I'm looking at you survivior, the bachelor, and real housewives)

There are 2 exceptions. You're cut off and celebrity rehab. They are like crack to me.
