I am self confident, with a really good sense of humor (dark & cynical at times), outspoken, with a lot of character but easy going. I am a happy -go-lucky gal.

A little bit about myself: I enjoy to travel. I am looking for a traveling partner. Where? Pretty much anywhere with a beach, history, or art. Or why not, a place that includes all of the above. I love the food, culture and meeting the local people. My philosophy on traveling is 100% cultural immersion.

I love salsa dancing, I practice zumba, yoga, and weight lifting on a pretty regular basis.

My favorite cuisines are Latin American, Middle Eastern, Italian and French . I enjoy Thai and fusion cuisines as well. I am a foodie and a good cook ( my friends say so)I do enjoy a good glass of red wine with a good meal.

I am not a super movie freak, but I do enjoy good foreign & independent films and classical as well. I am a huge Almodovar's fan. I do like Hollywood dramas, comedies, and suspense as well.

In regards of music, I have a broad taste. I enjoy classical & contemporary music, spanish pop & rock, jazz. I listen to Mozart, or Yo-Yo Ma or eastern world tunes. I like Sade, Frank Sinatra, Los Aterciopelados, U2, Gipsy Kings, Andrea Bocelli, Yanni, Shakira, Mana, miguel bose, Sodaestereo, Dave Mathews Band, Sting, Phil Collins, The Police, Madonna. I am an 80's music fan. I will forever be a HUGE Michael Jackson fan--RIP king of pop.

I am subscribed to the Washingtonian fitness magazines and academic journals. I like Money , Klipinger's and Forbes magazines as well. My favorite books includes Mountains beyond mountains, Paula, Like water for chocolate, Da Vinci Code, Suze Orman's The Money Class, Food Inc , Kitchen Confidential, The Warren Buffet Way, among others.

Not in any particular order but water, oxygen, sleep, good food, my morning coffee, NPR , my Iphone, cheese, dark chocolate, Trader Joes and good laughter.
