My self-summary
Hmmmm I don't think it's really possible for me to coherently write down a worthwhile summary. So for now, here is my attempt at being amusing while describing myself. The majority of these 'facts' are true:

- I'm tall, generally amusing, sometimes quirky, and always pondering. The 'why' of a thing is like a drug to me.
- I graduated from Drexel University in 2008 with a B.S. in Digital Media.
- Sharks have a week dedicated to me on their version of the Discovery Channel.
- I was raised a military brat and as such I've bounced back and forth across the US multiple times. It influenced (to a minor degree) who I grew up to be, so please don't hate me if I happen to refer to you as 'Miss' within a message.
- I once had an awkward moment just to know what it feels like.
- Callipygian is my new favorite word +12,345 points to you if you happen to know what this means without looking it up
- I've volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for the better part of 8 years running. So far I've helped build 6 different homes.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm heading up my own department at work (a department of 1... so impressive!!), attempting to navigate the idiocy that is buying a house in Philadelphia, and trying to decide if it is even remotely acceptable to eat Pho 5 days in a week.
I’m really good at
- Making people laugh, whether it be through public displays of semi-sane acts committed while in a non-inebriated state, doing something incredibly embarrassing, or just being my good old self.

- Dodging sketchy situations while on SEPTA public transit. If you've ever caught the Late Night Owl line from University City to South Philly, you know what I mean (and good for you in surviving that trip if you have, you get +15 points)

- Playing pool! Hit me up if you ever want to learn how / play a game!
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, or the fact that I have a look of pure exasperation on my face due to just witnessing another act of Philly Stupidity. Or that I'm playing with the nearest dog. It's a coin toss.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books:
- Anything by Charles Bukowski

- 'The Life of Pi' by Yann Martel
- Anything Cyberpunk written by Neal Stephenson
- 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson
- The Walking Dead (Hey... graphic novels count right??)
- For some heavier reading I really enjoy historical accounts about the Middle East's development and how the decisions made 50-100 years ago have helped form the problems we have today.

Favorite Music
I'll pretty much rock out to anything (And yes... sometimes there WILL be air guitaring +12.3333 points to you if you'd join in during these random sessions of epicness), but some current favorites are as follows:
- Mstrkrft
- Yeasayer
- Florence and the Machine
- The Bravery
- La Roux
- Gorillaz
- Mumford & Sons
- anything Dubstep

Favorite Food
If it's not an organ meat, I will pretty much eat anything. In fact, I even have a 'List-Of-Animals-I-Must-Eat-Before-They-Eat-Me'. This list was pretty much put together on the off chance that if some wild animal does manage to do me in, I'd want to be able to say that I chowed down on his/her second cousin before they finished me off. So far I've managed to check off snake, alligator, and shark. Bear is next up on the list, if you know how to find some +100 points to you cause that's just awesome.
The six things I could never do without
1.) Books to read
2.) People to go on adventures with
3.) Comedy
4.) Witty remarks
5.) Wikipedia
6.) PC Computers (Screw you Steve Jobs!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- The Singularity, and how I wish I would have been born 100 years from now to see it happen
- How I can speed up the process of owning my own home
- What the internet will look like 10 years from now
- When the Zombie Apocalypse finally does occur, will the zombies be the slow moving kind or the crazy fast runners? Also, will it be a biological/virus based Zombie Apocalypse, or one of the ones involving some sort of crazy magic?
On a typical Friday night I am
More than likely doing one of the following:
- Enjoying First Friday (Come join me!)
- Out watching a newly released movie with friends
- Exploring random sections of Philly
- Playing pool
- Reading a great book
- Hanging out at a local bar with friends/co-workers
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Grab a drink with me and you can take your pick from a slew of embarrassing stories. Until then, you'll just have to wait.
