Maybe I should start by saying a few things about me. I'm a 35 years old guy from Romania, I'm a lawyer for about 12 years now and I'm my own employer. I didn't registered here to find a girlfriend, but to make friends (nothing more, nothing less). I'm married as of 14th of July 2012.
We both love to travel so friends from other countries are welcome.

I am fun, open-minded, and optimistic in nature.

In other words, I want to find friends. Intelligent, good-natured and into the same things (mostly) that I am.

When it comes to friendship I do enjoy conversations, if is not possible to meet each other in real life. Be it by e-mail or even old style pen and paper or postcards.

Well, right now I figured out what I'm doing with my life. I'm a lawyer, I have my own law office, but there is place for something better. There always is.

I am also into good movies, reading books (mostly sci-fi and fantasy) and some good computer games. Mostly RPGs and fantasy themed adventures, but TBS games too.

History and astronomy are some of my main hobbies. When I was a kid, I wanted to become an astronaut. After that an archeologist (but that was after I came into contact with Indiana Jones).

A very twisted sense of humor. Sarcastic even. I also laugh a lot.

I like sci-fi books (I'm fascinated by the idea of alternate universes, like those of Harry Turtledove), fantasy books, like those written by Tolkien or RA Salvatore, but I also like Dune series, James Clavel's Shogun, Mark Twain's books, Jules Verne's books and several Romanians writers.
I listen to almost all kind of music. Gary Jules and Clint Mansell rank high among my favorite singers/composers.
My favorite movies are Freeway, Truman Show, Babylon 5, Stargate SG1&Atlantis, Ella Enchanted, among others.
Favorite food? I like Italian and Greek cuisine and the Romanian one, of course. And lots of cheese. Can't live without it.

Also, why ever since I changed my status to married I'm getting a increase of about 50% of visits from other married members on OKCupid.

Depends. Either at home or most likely taking a walk with my wife in a park.
And of course, if it is winter or autumn, spending my time either watching a movie with my wife or playing some video games (alone, as she's not into those at all).

I am a very curious person. I might even say too curious, this can be a bad thing at times.

People with a brain regardless of nation, race or gender. I would ask however for them to speak English (or Romanian) otherwise it would be hard for me to understand them. And if you are unable to spell in your native language, don't bother to write, I don't have the will to break the cipher.

Just people who are looking for friends (in real life or online, doesn't really matter, but the first ones are always preferred).
Must be willing to engage in discussions, on various subjects (but nothing sexual or religious). Their status does not matter much. I'd rather not talk with single people, but is really not that important.
