My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Professional by day. Musician by night.

There are many types of nerd. I am most of them. I love music and play it professionally. I love movies sci-fi and comics and am generally a master of nerdism.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Restoring balance to the force, playing music, occasionally making art, seeing the beauty in the code and dispensing my own brand of justice.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing the bass. Debugging code. Designing websites. Drawing. Naming that tune. Bickering with my guitar player like we are an old married couple. Driving long distances late at night on no sleep. Having adventures. Climbing ladders. Getting up on roofs. Lifting heavy objects and maneuvering them up twisty staircases. Trivia. The most obscure the better.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My cool geeky or ironic tee shirt hoodie or track jacket.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot of comic books. I love Gaiman, Hickman, Rucka, Snyder and Lemire. I love the art work too. Jae Lee, Greg Capullo, Esad Ribic and Fiona Staples are some of my favorite artists.

I love Hunter S. Thompson. I dug Harry Potter. I have read entirely too many Star Wars books. I have also read every Douglas Adams book.

TV shows: The Daily Show. The Colbert Report. The Rachel Maddow Show. Tosh.0. Game of Thrones. Doctor Who. Archer. True Blood. Arrow. American Horror Story. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D which after a slow start has become awesome. A fair amount of cartoons.

Movies: Star Wars. The Dark Knight. The Blues Brothers. Ghostbusters. Superman: The Movie. Pulp Fiction, in fact any Tarantino. Army of Darkness. The entire marvel movie universe. The Princess Bride of course.

Music: Bob Marley, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, RJD2, Jeff Buckley, Miles Davis, Mumford and Sons, Tool, Soul Coughing, Sublime, Peter Gabriel, Parliament, Stevie Wonder, in fact Motown generally, Toots & the Maytals, and so on and so forth. I am a music nerd but not a music snob.

Food: I love all kinds of food. Italian Indian and Thai are among my favorites.

Salvador Dali is my all time favorite artist.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iPad, My laptop, My bass, My Amp, My phone, and a mulit-tool. Leave me with that and I am ready for action.

Also a change of clothes and of course... a towel.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The sheer unadulterated improbability of the zombie apocalypse. Now the robot apocalypse. That's another story. I think Google is getting pretty close on that one.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing a gig or at the bar. Possibly out at the movies or out somewhere else. Generally I am out somewhere on Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Whenever "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" comes on the radio the entire focus of my being moves toward hopping they are playing the version where he says "Bitch!"
