I'm from the NWT originally and lived there most of my life. I really enjoy cooking & I love and miss nature and the northern lights and my dogs, but seeing many of my friends in the city, not to mention all the things I can do here helps compensate. Plus I go home at Christmas & for the summer.
I tend to wear a lot of hats, both literally and metaphorically, but have in the last few years been trying to make my life more managable by cutting down on the number of things I throw myself completely into.
I drink a metric shit-tonne of tea (not to be confused with an Imperial shit-ton).
I feel bad creeping through people's profiles and not communicating or feeling uninterested, because I know that every person I've ever dated or been friends with has been because of contact and communication, not merely "look at that person, I bet they'd be x".
I can often be found complaining about the weather (probably not in the way you think), and my friends are constantly joking about how everything I make turns into stew (it doesn't... Often... I swear!). I also have a tendency to tell people to get the fuck out of my kitchen while I'm in full swing preparing for a party or something. Needless to say I have a swanky apron and chef's hat that I don for these occasions.
I invite all my professors to my parties, but my parties seem to always be during papers and marking. I really just want to be friends with all my professors, they're so cool ;-;
I feel any form of communication on a dating site is going to be tainted by lack of inflection and assumed creepiness, so if I ever message you, please understand I probably just want to talk haha.
If I had a spirit animal it would be a dwarf.
INFP the last time I tinkered with the Myers Briggs test. I'm really on the fence with a lot of the questions though so it tends to fluctuate.
If anything on my profile intrigues you, feel free to message me!
On more than one occasion I've had people in passing cars yell "nice legs!" Whilst wearing kilt/lederhosen. Awwww yeaaaah.
