I have a positive outlook on life. The cup is always half full and I thrive no matter what life throws at me.

I'm comfortable with myself -- who I am, what I'm doing and where I'm going.

I care about the world around me. I want to leave it a better place than I found it. I strive to help others.

I'm happy. I love getting out of bed everyday and seeing what the day brings. I like to laugh and make those around me laugh.

I rejuvenate outdoors; garden, hike, bike, pretty much anything with fresh air. Spectacular scenery is awesome. Franconia Notch, the Adirondacks, Yosemite and Banff are all places I love to visit.

I'm not into spectator sports. I'd much rather do something.

I am a hopeless romantic. If you like to walk hand in hand, snuggle in front of a cozy fire and cuddle in bed you're reading the right profile.

I'm more spiritual than religious. I have explored enough paths to appreciate their beauty and intent. It's hard to comprehend the strife over the centuries given their commonality. Though I don't practice any particular religion I was raised Presbyterian. My spirituality expanded through Scientology.

I have three wonderful children (21, 18 and 16). The youngest lives with me. They mean the world to me. I hope you enjoy their company as much as I do.

Movies: Beauty and the Beast (yes, Disney), Star Trek (JJ Abrams), 2001, Dr. Zhivago, The Matrix

TV: Doctor Who

Music: Eclectic. Rock (REO Speedwagon, Beatles, Eagles), Jazz (Grover Washington, Sade), Soft (Burt Bacharach, Diana Krall), Classical (Moonlight Sonata), Country (Big Green Tractor), even some RAP.

Food: I eat healthy but meat and potatoes are a staple. There is always fruit in my house; peaches, blueberries, strawberries, bananas. I garden and love fresh veggies -- when I can get them before the deer do.
