My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
One side is an introverted nerd who enjoys the very few requirements his current lifestyle demands of him.
The other side is the happiest possible when around people and loves to converse about all kinds of strange topics.

These two must unite and become one person.

Who will win? Who will find happiness? What kind of hilarious shenanigans will be born as a result of this one man version of "Dharma and Greg"?

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently enjoying having a job I find interesting and enjoy doing.

I work with adults with infantile autism. People unable to take care of themselves. I attempt to be a stable yet challenging influence in the lives of individuals who very much appreciate repetition.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing broken things.
Being calm in the storm.
Finding the funny side of the tragedy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My bald head.
That or my nerdy aura. Complete strangers has sat next to me on the train and started asking me questions about why their cellphones and poor data reception.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Book: Both Freakonomics books. Being a pragmatic these books approach to problem solving is fascinating.
I love optimism, especially when it has numbers to back it up!
I also love Audible listen to over 90% of my books using the service.

Movies: "There will be blood". I know I said I like optimism, and if you know this movie you are aware its kind of a downer, but golly! Witnessing a persons soul dying like a cancer stricken tree was never this good.

Shows: All the "usual" HBO shows. The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos. Non-HBO shows like Breaking Bad (told you that witnessing transformation fascinates me) are also great.

Honorable mentions to Tailspin and Rescue rangers for having the worlds most addictive intro themes.

Music: Muse, Primus, Pink Floyd, Meat Loaf, Dire Straits, Oh Land and Queen.

Food: Fast and dirty! I don't mean fast as in fast food, but living alone I really dislike spending hours on my meals.
Experience has taught me that a special someone in my life changes that, but since I currently live alone I will write it from that perspective.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My relatives
My Cat
My Neato
My Chromebook
Some kind of income
Some kind of transportation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The job and ways to improve my efforts in it.

How much I need to start working out again, while simultaneously preparing myself for the disappointment of never really making a steady habit out of it.

Also there is always some kind of music playing in my head, so I guess that should also make the list.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It is friday night and I am working.
Guess this qualifies as typical, since it will happen 50% of my fridays.
I am ok with this since I find getting drunk in the city very expensive and non-fruitful so far. More private social events is more appropriate for the kind of person I am, so if possible I try to participate in those.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

For whatever reason I hardly ever respond to pure visual emotion. However, throw in some appropriate background music and I make up for what I initially was missing.

Most likely however, is that I have written you and you are curious about me.

Being the guy on an internet dating site, I very much doubt I will receive a lot of non requested mails.

As far as I know the numbers are still very much in favor for the opposite gender, but that being said, I love to be surprised!
