My Self-Summary
I love to travel and learn from people and places around me. I have
learned that it is not where you go but who you travel with that
makes the trip worthwhile. I am passionate about my job and very
close to my family. I am open to trying new things and enjoy
spending time with friends. I get a huge satisfaction out of
teaching students at the high school level. The greatest feeling is
to see them embrace an idea that they previously never knew
existed.
What I’m doing with my life
When I am not teaching the youth of America, I am enjoying life and
all it has to offer.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love Lost....it is the greatest show! I eat Italian food
regularly but also enjoy sushi, mexican food, and chinese
food...something about those eggrolls. When I do have time to read,
I enjoy books that make you think even well after you have finished
reading it. The last book I read is The Reader. It is a twisted
story about desire, obsession, power, and the Holocaust. Perfect
combination for a social studies teacher....I still havn't had the
chance to see the movie.
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, hugs, e-mail, my passport, and mental stimulation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What if......whether it may be regarding an event in history, or
some detail of my life. I don't really have any regrets but still
enjoy wondering what it would be like if things happened
differently. Like what if I won a million dollars.......
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends in a local bar or just relaxing after a
long work week.
