My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to SF a year ago after finishing grad school in Boston and I have found this city to be a good replacement for Boston. I'm always up to meet new people and this seems like a great way to do it. I enjoy exploring the city and being outside. I'm a huge sports fan so a lot of my activities involve either playing or watching sports. That is when I'm not in a lab coat mixing chemicals. I make drugs...but the helpful kind.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an organic chemist at an oncology biotech company. FYI, "organic" means made of carbon, not free of pesticides and other chemicals. Not all chemicals are bad. I get that question a lot.
My job allows me to learn something everyday and I love it. Since grad school I have learned that time is your most valuable asset and I try to enjoy it. So I have a great work/life balance.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Organic chemistry, air hockey, ping pong, baseball (unfortunately not since college), tennis, watching tv, asking questions, and making conversation.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Red Sox and Broncos, hot dogs, the sun, beer, Chapstick (sadly addicted), coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fun ways to exercise outside, organic synthesis, how good the Red Sox can be this year, how the Broncos will win the Super Bowl this year, all the restaurants I haven't tried yet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably dinner and drinks or resting up for Saturday activities.

You don't mind nerds, you can drink a beer, and you have a positive outlook on life.
