My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a dreamer at heart. I have big goals and dreams and enough drive to accomplish them. However, I am a bit of a procrastinator short term. I am a total nerd (in the good way!).

I am slow to open up to new people, but once I consider you a friend (or more) I am incredibly loyal. I am fun and witty and sarcastic once you get to know me but shy and quiet initially.

I am also apparently a slacker about updating my profile so something here might be out of date. >.>

I am friendly, understanding, and intelligent
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in my last semester of law school, which I'm doing in Japan because Japan is fantastic and I've missed Tokyo ever since I moved away a few years ago.

In theory I'm also studying for the JLPT, but school keeps me busy so I've been lazy about that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at listening, solving problems and adapting to new people and situations. Also, jigsaw puzzles and video games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They tell me the first thing everyone notices is that I am friendly. Apparently I radiate "friendly". This isn't a bad thing I guess (I am quite friendly). Though I do wish my first impression could be a bit more exciting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorites change based on my mood but I do have a few go to answers.

My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, it is clever and romantic and I am a sucker for a happy ending. A close second is Fingersmith by Sarah Waters because it was one of the few books that actually kept me guessing what was going to happen for the majority of the story.

My favorite movie is a bit more difficult to answer. I love all sorts of different movies. My overall favorite is probably The Princess Bride (action, romance and, once again, a happy ending). However, if you catch me in a different mood my favorite may be the most recent musical I've seen, or a big budget summer action movie.

Music... I have no specific favorite. I love 80's music, classic rock, metal, good pop, show tunes, crazy Japanese music and ballads. The dislikes are stronger. I hate really hardcore country and rap music (though some of the more cross-over type music is great)

My favorite food is probably sushi. Typical I know, but stumbling across really delicious sushi at some random place I have never been before has to be one of my favorite things about living in Tokyo.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I think I couldn't truly live without my friends and family. Other than that I can (and have) survived without any specific thing... but I would be very very sad without my computer and the internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about any new things that I learn. If I have just finished a book I will be daydreaming about that. If I have been watching politics I will be debating social issues. If I have been talking with friends or new people I will be thinking about them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Rewarding myself for finishing homework by going dancing. Unless I haven't actually done any homework and then I am sitting at home pretending I will start on it any minute now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've already told you I'm a nerd and that I'm working to become a lawyer... I think that is the "worst" I really have.

You want to talk or go do something fun! I am busy so it sometimes takes me a little while to get to my messages but I always try to answer back.
