My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm new to this whole Internet dating thing so not quite sure where to start, feels like I'm writing a CV! I'm very outgoing and sociable, pretty easy going, have a positive and optimistic outlook on life, and have, I've been reliably informed, a good sense of humour. I'm intelligent, at least academically (although some might say lacking in common sense at times!) and love to compete at stuff. I enjoy good food, good banter, spending time with friends and family, music, gigs and festivals, film, travelling and playing sport (hockey, golf, snowboarding). I'm looking to meet someone who's fun to be around, and if they're intelligent, confident, witty, and with an enthusiasm for life that would be great...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an Account Manager for an IT firm which I really enjoy but I'm also a big fan of a good work/life balance. Try and get away snowboarding once or twice a year, summer playing golf, winter playing hockey, evenings and weekends out and about with friends and family. Sounds pretty formulaic but I love trying new things and am always open to suggestion!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being eternally optimistic.
First impressions.

Music - Black Keys, Foo Fighters, White Lies, Arcade Fire, Jack White, Raconteurs, Muse, Killers, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs etc etc.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Blackberry (what did I say earlier about liking a work/life balance?!)
Friends and family (such a cliche, does anyone NOT put this?!)

Wow, these things make you sound so superficial!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The size of the Universe and our insignificance in it (not in a depressing way, it's just nice to get things in perspective sometimes).
What I can invent to enable me to not have to work any more.
The apparent inherent stupidity of the population at large.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wherever the mood or opportunity takes me, usually involving food, alcohol and good company in varying proportions!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Yeah, right...
