I'm a 3rd grade teacher (awe..I know) at an American school in Lima, Peru. Been teaching here since July 2012; currently living in Miraflores.

I'm Filipino, but I was born and raised in the U.S.- grew up in the Seattle, WA area. Before I moved to Lima, I lived in Kuwait for 3 years teaching 2nd grade (yes, also at an American international school.)

My spanish is still very beginner :(

My life is comprised of teaching, grad school, taking spanish lessons, and playing guitar (though, I'm not good) on my free time. And currently trying to learn a new city and new culture.

I'd also like to try surfing soon since I live so close to the water here in Miraflores.

- strumming chords on the guitar in 4/4 time
- hanging out for "one more drink"
- walking through the city with my headphones on and pretending I'm in a music video.
- wasting time on the internet.
- proofreading other peoples' writing.

Was in a theatre production of The Odyssey my sophomore year in college. I tried to rekindle the desire I had at age 12 to be an actor, but alas...too little too late.
