My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty quiet guy with a very relaxed nature, and an off the wall sense of humor. Plus, I'm a huge geek. Some of my biggest interests include: playing video games and CCG's, watching anime, and playing/discussing D&D. Also contrary to popular belief geeks do also like to do things outside the house. Some of my favorites include camping, fishing and going to the beach.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I spend a lot of time cooking, and reading about cooking. I've worked hard over the lat year to get to where I am now. I take my career very seriously, and hope to find someone who appreciates food as much as I do lol.

Outside of expanding my culinary knowledge I've been going disc golfing, and going to concerts as often as I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
One upside to being a quiet person, is that I'm a really good listener. I'm always there for my friends, and I tend to give pretty decent advice on things.

I also like to think I'm pretty good at cooking, and my family and friends tend to agree. Making a huge meal for my family or friends is one of my favorite things to do.

Beyond that, I'm really good at flying through life by the seat of my pants. I've had a lot of challenges come at me over the years, and I'm still kicking. So I think that counts for something.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first thing people usually notice about me is the fact that I'm reaaaaaally quiet. I'm shy and I don't tend to speak much until I get to know someone. Sometimes people peg me as being arrogant or stuck up because of this, but once they get to know me, they realize that's not the case.

Oh, and my eyebrow piercing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have so many favorites, so I'm just going to list a few for each. Otherwise, we'll literally be here ALL day. Besides, we should save some stuff to talk about in person. :)

I usually won't buy a book unless it grabs my attention in the first few paragraphs. I can be a little picky when it comes to what I'll pick up. I also read a shit ton of comic books, but I guess those might not count to some people.
Favorite Authors: Terry Goodkind and R.A. Salvatore.
Favorite Books: The New Dead, The Sword of Truth series, The Hobbit, Ready Player One.

I will watch pretty much any movie that comes along, from big budget summer blockbusters, to shitty horror movies that most people wouldn't even take a look at. Most bad movies I watch just to make fun of. But every once in a while, I'll discover something completely random that I probably never would have considered watching in the first place, and end up loving it.
Favorite Directors: Kevin Smith, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Peter Jackson.
Favorite Movies:Pretty much anything based on a comic book, Frailty, Back to the Future trilogy, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, The Secret of Nimh.

Over the years, I had periods of time where I avoided cable TV. But lately, having access to it has rotted my brain a bit again. Most of what I watch, I download or catch online, but there's a few things I'll actually plan to catch while they're on TV.
Favorite Shows: Dr. Who, How I met your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Community, Invader Zim, Lost, X/1999, Good Eats, and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Plus, pretty much anything on Food Network.

I have a pretty wide taste in music, but the main genres I lean towards are metal and rock. There are a ton of bands I could list here, but I'll try to cut the list down and save your eyes some strain.
Music: Coheed and Cambria, Our lady Peace, Avenged Sevenfold, Five Bolt Main, Rush, Boy Hits car, Queen, Moist, and Nerf herder.

Being so into cooking and stuff, has turned me into a total foodie over the years. I'll try anything once, and I love exotic food. I've been eating Chinese food since I was 3 years old. And I was that kid that loved vegetables. Also, if I can make it from scratch, I will. Fuck boxes.
Favorite Cuisines: Japanese, Chinese, and Italian.
Favorite Meals: Pot roast, chicken noodle soup, chicken and dumplings, beef stroganoff, and pretty much anything off the grill (including vegetables).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My Family
2. My Friends
3. My cats
4. My computer/Internet
5. My Phone
6. A good sense of humor.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about all the different things I've done in my life and what lessons I've learned. I really wouldn't go back and change much, because even the bad stuff led me to where I am today and had a big impact on who I am.

My brain is also flooded with a ton of random facts. I'm sort of a walking knowledge base for useless information, so guaranteed, there's always some crazy trivia answer floating around in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm either at work or spending time with my friends. I'm not really much of a bar person, but I'll go from time to time if my friends are going out. I also like to catch live concerts when I can, and really enjoy going to see new movies when they hit theaters.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I married my best friend a few years back. And after about two years, we realized that we were better friends than anything else, so we decided to get divorced. There's no hard feelings, and we're still pretty good friends. I realize that might be a deal breaker for some people, but I'm all about being open and honest.
