My self-summary
First off let me say that I understand most of you are looking for love, or at least sex; and while I think that is an OK thing for you to do, that is not my reason for coming here. I have been happily married for the past 17 years to the same wonderful man and our life together is wonderful. My reason for coming here is to expand my circle of friends. There doesn't seem to be many venues out here in Riverside for mingling with other gay people. So, if you are looking for more than friends, you don't need to read any farther.

My name is Thom. I am a graphic artist and work out of my own home. I have a wide variety of interests as you will see below. I love nature and science as well as music and art. I am a rather devout Greek Orthodox Christian and spent over 6 years studying Orthodox Theology in a monastery. I have traveled a little and have tons of interesting stories. I feel that I am a natural teacher and love to share interesting tidbits with people who will listen.
What I’m doing with my life
When I am not working on a graphics project, I am a homemaker. I am a fairly decent singer and I am currently learning how to play the Guitar. I love growing interesting and exotic plants (orchids, carnivorous, succulents, etc). We have lots of fruit trees and I often make jams and jellies. I grow my own veggies and love to cook and bake. My recent culinary expeditions include the cuisine of India, still having some trouble getting the spices just right.
I’m really good at
Graphic Arts, Gardening, Plants, Identifying insects and spiders. For many years I was on the board of Directors for the Orange County Orchid Society and served as their vice president.
I am very good at both cooking and baking and I am constantly trying to expand my repertoire.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am fat and balding, but once they get past that they start to notice how happy I actually am. They come to know my graciousness and hospitality. I am very friendly and love to tell stories.

I am a very open person and unashamed of my life. I don't have any secrets, just things I haven't brought up yet. There are a few things I have done in my life that I am ashamed of, but they aren't secrets, they are just mistakes I have used to make me a better person.
