Music: I tend to listen to music from the soundtracks of various
video games and like to think about how the composers intended the
tracks to feel. Some of the music is exceptionally complex and it's
amazing how composers have made such complex things even when the
technology was limited. I enjoy listening for the motifs and
finding the leitmotif in various tracks. You can gain a surprising
amount of insight into the scenarios or world just from the
gravitas of the music. I guess this applies to movies as well. This
is why I never say anything when people ask me what type of music I
