People like me. I'm fun and funny and a good friend.
I love to hear and tell stories. If something in my life doesn't kill me and it makes for a good story that I can tell around cocktails later on then it has been a worthwhile event.
Since my divorce over 3 years ago I have discovered that I can survive and thrive on my own - but I love having fun interesting and caring people in my life.
I have built up a wealth of friends of all ages that are the best thing in my life. We take turns throwing parties and get togethers and I don't know what I would do with out them.
I like traveling, riding my bike, juggling, reading, movies, music, plays, doing stuff and seeing stuff. All the usual stuff.
I was once arrested with Martin Sheen and once took Punky Brewster to Magic Mountain (at the time she told me I looked like Weird Al). And the drummer from U2 once crashed on my sleeper-sofa.
Lived in Arizona for 12 years before moving back to Boston. Spent 5 years working with kids and now have a career in IT.
Politics - a open minded (I hope) moderate liberal. My two most passionate causes are (1) pro gay-marriage (2) pro universal health care.
I've realized the benefits of a more (but not completely) minimalist lifestyle. Still a work in progress.
I am both extremely outgoing AND at times painfully shy. When I'm with friends and people who I feel safe and accepted around I can be the life of the party...yet I will admit to being a bit shy and nervous in new social situations. But I recognize this and try and put myself out there socially when I can - even when at the edge of my comfort zone
