i'm hoping to find a lasting relationship (hopefully romantic but platonic works, too!), but i am more shy than i realize, heh. i don't have very good flirting skills and i don't really fit into what seems to be the mainstream gay scene these days.

other than that, i like jazz, hardcore punk and all other music, martial arts, art and cinema, math, science, animals and the out doors, nerding out and a million other things.

some things i don't like are smoking, chemicals, drama, fashion, most musicals, and fitting in. god, i'm such a rebel!

looks like i AM going back to school, for healthcare. hopefully it will be more rewarding than tricking cranky ladies into buying crappy business cards!

my strong point is humor (sarcasm usually included, but not necessary). in one way or another, i will make you laugh!

i also like problem solving; i always have a different way of looking at a situation.

i honestly don't know! i'm tall, but when people say, "hi, nice to meet you. you're tall!" i tend to erase them from my memory.

A. Books: Real Ultimate Power, Hagekure, Go Rin No Sho, World War Z, Dune, Mythology and Folk Tales, A Brief History of Time / Universe in a Nutshell, trashy fantasy novels, Harry Potter, Hellblazer... yes, i'm a dork.

B. Movies and TV: i'm a big TV fan, but i try to find those rare shows that are as artistic and deep as the best books or movies. they're out there! otherwise, samurai movies, b-horror, black comedies, and everything else!

C. I'm really into the International section of iTunes Radio... other than that, some specific bands of interests are: the Spirit of Versailles, the Assistant, the Clancey Brothers, Tom Waits, John Coltrane, Ani DiFranco, Bjork, Charles Fucking Bronson, Circle Takes the Square, Fugazi, Loreena McKennitt, Los Crudos, the Pixies, the Pogues, Saetia, Throwing Muses, Robbie Fulks, Yat-Kah, In Flames, the Blood Brothers, and much more!

D. Food: Sushi, Pad Thai, other pan asian flavor sensations, mexican, spanish, a really good cheeseburger, pizza, BBQ, ethiopian, almost everything that isn't too spicy for me. i really love trying new and exciting foods.

also in regards to food. i recently found out i have a mild allergy to rice. how much BULL CRAP is that?

Joss Whedon, music, the internet, cinnamon and/or apple pie, and maybe porn? i guess if i'm not sure, then it doesn't count as "could never do without." i guess i'll utilize this space to be a rebel! oooh, edgy! i may be too weird for you, watch out!

music, ninjas/samurai, mountees, and horrible things to say. also food. i think about food a lot. i wish i could eat more of it. and my best friends. i'm pretty sure they're delicious.
