My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a shy kid at heart. But you probably wouldn't be able to tell. Just don't expect me to make the first move. I'm the epitome of an INFP, if that means anything to you. I try to find beauty in everything, and goodness in everyone. I believe in kindness, good manners, being open minded, and doing the right thing. I'm a hopeless romantic.

I hardly ever say no to adventure. I wish my life allowed me to travel more. But since I can't, I try to go out whenever I can. I'm always up for a good meal. I love going to the beach, especially at night. And hiking... but not at night. Haha. Lately I've been trying to get into bouldering, but so far I'm pretty terrible at it.

I'm a nerd. I play video games, watch the occasional anime, and like to read about random stuff like psychology and neuroscience. I dabble in music and art and photography, but haven't really had the time lately. I love stars, puppies (... actually most animals), and Disneyland. I also love food and sports cars. I'm addicted to fragrances.

All that said and done, honestly I really just like reading people's profiles. It's interesting what people choose to say about themselves. As for anything past that, well, try me. I'm really not good at this whole "online chatting" thing, and I don't have a lot of time. So gimme a good reason to write back, and don't be too offended if I take forever to reply. Cuz it will probably take me a while. Haha.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working long hours. Taking online classes at community college to transfer for a degree in Engineering. I took a break from school for a long while cuz my heart wasn't in it, but I'm trying to get back on track. I also do a lot of sleeping, eating, and attempting to cuddle with my dog who doesn't like cuddling. Time isn't exactly something I have a lot of. Haha.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking naps. Really, I can sleep anywhere. I'm pretty good at piano, cooking, finishing novels in a matter of days, identifying dog breeds, pretending to be an extrovert, taking pictures of my food and making everyone hungry. I've been told I'm hilarious. I'm good at listening. And giving practical advice that I myself at bad at following.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love everything except when they're things that I don't like.

Books: The one book that stands out in my mind is Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. Besides that, throw any fiction at me. I'll proably read it. Though I do love my sci-fi/fantasy. Not a huge fan of non-fiction unless it's scientific stuff.

Movies: Cloud Atlas. Or Up. I love animated films. Disney, Pixar, Ghibli, you name it. I also love movies that make you think, like What Dreams May Come, Gattaca, A Beautiful Mind, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, etc. But really I very rarely dislike any movies. Except scary movies. Noooope.

TV: I watch a lot of whatever's on Netflix. Whatever has a good plot! I also love food shows, nature shows, and stuff like HGTV (I feel old when I get excited about renovating a house... haha). Sometimes I watch anime and Asian dramas. Sometimes.

Music: Anything from classical to heavy metal. Just depends on what mood I'm in. My favorite songs are the ones that get stuck inside my head. And then I end up listening to them over and over and over. But I do hate songs with stupid lyrics.

Food: Oh where do I begin? I love food. Japanese, Chinese, Italian, a good steak and (mashed) potatoes, seafood... I'm obsessed with sushi/sashimi. I love my fruits and veggies too though. Oh and desserts. You really shouldn't get me started on food. Haha.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog
My phone
Flip flops
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food, my dog, work, random things, what am I doing with my life... plus whatever song is stuck on repeat in my head. And if I have spare mental capacity left over, I think about people, and wonder why they act the way they do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out to dinner with friends. Or curled up with my dog and Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an account on here.
I have a soft spot for cute things (puppies, stuffed animals, well-mannered children, etc.).
I like sappy movies.
I can be kinda shallow (cuz yes, I appreciate people who make an effort regarding their appearances), but at least I'm not afraid to admit it.
I can eat a ridiculously obscene amount of sushi.
I'm genderqueer and pansexual, meaning I'm very fluid in terms of myself and the people that I'm attracted to. (I won't elaborate too much, but if you're really that intrigued, you can always ask. And if you're really that intriguing, maybe I'll answer.)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- You want to. And you have something more to say than "hi" or "what's up". (Or I won't write back.)
- You're artistic/creative. Or scientific with an appreciation for the arts.
- You love Disney, food, puppies, or any of the other things that I love.
- You're not overly religious or political. (Because I'm definitely not.)
- You can spell and use correct grammar. (Really, spell check can be enabled in your browser...)
- You know the difference between macaron and macaroon.
- You won't judge someone for always being covered in dog hair. Haha.
