Ri_se is a former exchange student (to Michigan), who'd like to form new friendships (and maybe more) through this media. She studies at a university and spends her free time with her friends, her dogs or her computer. Ri_se enjoys board games with friends, training her dogs for obedience and search and rescue and the occasional book, movie or a quality tv show. She loves to engage in debates over the internet, her favorite topic those time being (you could probably guess this) dogs and dog breeding. She'll occasionally discuss cattle breeding as well, but she tries harder to stay neutral about those topics.

I'm studying for my masters and I'm hoping to start a family one day, I'd prefer sooner than later.

Things I like to do besides studying and taking care of my pooches ;)... I enjoy the great outdoors, but don't mind catching a game of hockey on tv or live. I've sailed on the Baltic Sea and loved it, but my favorite landscape so far (the Teton Range) is in Wyoming. I occasionally go spotting and still call DC-10 my favorite even though A340 is great fun to observe these days. I've slept under the open sky and could do so again, even after waking up with fresh snow covering part of my cold face. I still love books, it's something I learned from my mom, even if I don't read them quite so much as previously. Mindlessly browsing Wikipedia is one my hobbies and I cover a wide variety of topics there, most are naturally related to things I've mentioned here. And I seem to have a gift for random rambling ;) Well there are some things I apparently wanted to mention amongst all that randomness, I may add to these, possibly even sooner rather than later.

passing exams with little or no studying. I do actually study for classes that matter ie. for classes that have to do with my own field. Mandatory chemistry holds no interest even though I'm still partial to physics for example.

You'd have to ask people. My dogs quite often, the other can be bit loud.

I was sure I had a long list somewhere so I'm just naming a few of the top of my head. Book: Watership Down by Richard Adams, movie: Hunt for the Red October, music: Enya, food: salmon in some form.

Family, friends, dogs and now you say that's only three. I'll get to six one day I promise. I could add my computer quite possibly, but it's not too long since I went without it for quite a while.

Future, even when I should be out living my life...

Hanging out with my friends. Quite possibly playing Arkham Horror or something similar.

I read fanfiction, possibly too much of it.
