Alright, here we go... I moved to Virginia Beach last year after spending the better part of the past 8-10 years in Houston for school and work, with the exception of a two-year stint in Nashville when I got my MBA. I did spend my senior year of high school here, but that doesn't do too much for me on the social spectrum at this point.

Most of the questions (almost 1500?!?!) I answered on this site were from ~2008 when I first joined up while living in Nashville. I think the data should probably still be pretty relevant, though everyone changes with time, right?

I moved back to Virginia Beach as part of a career change. I used to be in the sport industry, working for various teams in the Houston area. Now I work as a Strategic Services Business Analyst for a company in the healthcare industry. It's a huge switch and my job is consistently evolving, but I think I'm on the right path with the change.

Usually I'm able to get people to laugh pretty easily, which is something I aim for. I view laughter as the most genuine form of feedback, as you can't fake a good laugh or smile.

I'm incredibly shy but I have a very sharp sense of humor. Other than that, people don't actually *say* what they notice about me.

That being said, one time several years ago I was in an elevator alone with a random girl, who said to me, "I know this is going to sound weird, but I'll hate myself if I don't say it: you have the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen." I didn't know what to say... the only thought running through my head was, "my eyes are green."

Books: I don't spend as much time reading anymore. That's not good, but it is what it is. I like a lot of Carl Hiaasen's work, and I'm a fan of Michael Crichton. But the best book I've ever read is "A Dog's Purpose" by W. Bruce Cameron.

Movies: Let's see... American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, Requiem for a Dream, Airplane, Goodfellas, Blazing Saddles... it's a wide range.

Shows: I'll assume this means TV. Community, Modern Family, The Middle, Chopped, Kitchen Nightmares, Jimmy Kimmel Live, How I Met Your Mother. Mostly comedy and some reality cooking shows. I haven't been into a drama since Lost went off the air. :-(

Music: Pretty much any of the various genres of rock, and there are many.

Food: Basically anything except Asian cuisine. I don't really know how to cook, though. For the most part, cooking for myself is defined as putting a frozen dinner in the oven instead of in the microwave!

sports, comedy, the internet, the gym, a strong support system, hope for the future

Where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going. And baseball. Definitely baseball.

Since I moved back to Virginia, most Friday nights I've been spending time with my family and/or catching a ballgame.

I'm very open and willing to talk about/admit anything... but you have to be the one to ask!
