I'm a pretty confident, honest guy who enjoys having a laugh but can be absolutely serious when needs be. I'm well educated and travelled, and I see life as a series of learning experiences.

I possibly spend too much time in self examination, but I find that a source of strength rather than weakness. I find it better to confront what you are rather than deny it.

Creativity is a large part of my life, particularly acting. It is very important to me, as my characters represent a part of my life and personality, and being on stage allows me to reveal a part of who I am, for good or ill.

I am always looking for new challenges in my life. Currently I need a new one after finishing my Masters Degree.

One thing I don't understand about this site - why is it in the "You Might Like" section it includes people who you demonstrably have nothing in common with? Answers on a postcard please ...

Additional confusion - "near me" has so far included people from Ireland, Masachusetts and The Philippines. Call me old fashioned, but they really don't count as "near". Anyone else get this?

I work as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist for myself, but I'm a bit of a renaissance man as I've just completed my MA in Shakespeare and Theatre and act part time. I'm also qualified in stage fighting and woukd like to work as a fight director too. Luckily, I'm semi- retired as I have no mortgage to pay and no family, so I have a lot of time to spend on my hobbies of Tai Chi, Theatre, re-enacting battles, singing, reading, films and playing daft drinking games.

Self improvement is a big deal to me.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about god/gods, the purpose of existence, why we are here and what our ultimate purpose is.

Varies - sometimes I work, sometimes I'm on stage, sometimes I am in with a film and a beer, on occasion I'm out for a drink, party or the theatre. In other words, there is no such thing as a typical Friday night.
