I'm looking for love and friendship. I'll give as much as I take, if not more. Is there anyone out there?
I'm a published writer and professor. I've written about everything from working as a cook in a French kitchen to hawks in New York's Central Park to living in the South of France. I'm in good shape, no health concerns, am robust, curious, kind. I have a daughter, and I am hugely proud of being her father. I'm a lover of nature, of everything that roams the wild earth.
I'm flexible in time and place. I can make room for a relationship. It's important to me.
I'm looking for a woman who is her own person, who has a never-ending zest for life, a natural woman, who can laugh at life's absurdities and at herself--and at me, when deserved, which may be often. A woman who can love a man wholeheartedly, who's not afraid to say so. Who loves animals and books. Who thinks being kind to people is important.
People who consistently make me laugh: Richard Pryor, John Waters, Jonathan Winters, Joan Rivers, Margaret Cho, Amy Schumer, Key and Peele, George Carlin, Henny Youngman, Broad City. Some gems to begin with. If you find yourself laughing your butt off listening to/watching these people, for God's sake, message me.
My political views are moderate/left, and if yours are to the right, well, I think the proper response is "keep on scrolling." You won't find me waving a Saints flag and slurping a Hurricane on Sundays. I'm more likely to be on my bicycle watching the trees fly by or cooking a good meal.
In short, I want to spend my time with someone I'm impossibly attracted to and who I can go all in with. If you'd like someone to laugh and play with, who thinks holding hands is glorious, who thinks kissing is even more so and who will have your back, send me a message.
