I'm a southern California native. Was born in Tarzana Hospital, lived in the valley until I was ten when we moved to Thousand Oaks. I spent four years in The Marine Corps. Lived briefly in Daytona Beach, Florida where I went to school to be a sail boat mechanic, then in San Diego where I was one until I moved to Hollywood to go to Film School. In between the two I spent four months traveling around Europe. Lived in Hollywood for eight years.
I'm a pretty easy going guy, open to most things. Can be very sarcastic at times so you should have a sense of humor and be pretty thick skinned, but it's all in good fun, and try not to be cruel to others. In fact, a strong believer in treating others the way you'd want to be treated. Usually always laughing, even if at times I'm standing around laughing at my own jokes like a complete maniac! I can be very serious when need be, but pretty laid back the rest of the time. I like to think I'm smarter than your average bear. Fairly well rounded. I think people have a hard time reading me at first and think I'm kinda weird, but usually love me once they get to know me. Inconsiderate people, particularly inconsiderate drivers, are a big pet peeve of mine. Then again I get a kick out of people with a real fuck all attitude. I try not to be judgmental and accept people as they are. Very live and let live, to each their own, or what ever other cliche saying I can throw in this paragraph.
Movies are my life, so watch a lot of them, lots of random film trivia, and hope to someday be making my own! Love to travel, but a healthy student loan and the life of an aspiring artist doesn't afford me that opportunity as much as I'd like. Gotten around a little bit though between two deployments through the Pacific Ocean to the middle east and back, and a few months back packing through Europe. I'm a golden shell back fourth award if you know what that means! I've been told I have a very Australian sense of humor, or a so and so personality. Like to think I can fit in where ever I go, and I'm universally cool in some way, but really just always got a smile, open to making friends and having a laugh. More of a pub guy than a club guy. Kind of old school in my tastes and values. Open to most music, not so much a rap or r&b guy, but like some, but mainly classic rock and older country. Bit of a lush, and like to drink, but do so fairly responsibly. Definitely too old for wwhhhoooo hhhooooo, party, party! I like a good time, but when I was growing up the standard was the guy who could out drink everyone else but still be standing and cool as a cucumber was the guy that could drink. Not sure if I ever understood this glorification of getting fucked up and acting like a complete ass. Sure it happens to the best of us sometimes, but that's exactly the point that anybody can do it that really takes all the skill and artistry out of drinking. (yes I'm completely aware that the last sentence probably makes me sound like an alcoholic!)
