I've managed to retire from three different jobs and I'm working still working. Who knows, I may end up retiring from another job before it is all over.
I'm not perfect, but I try to be very honest, truthful and friendly to everyone I meet. I don't smoke or do drugs and I very rarely drink anymore.
I've been married twice - the first time was 13 years and the second time was 5 years. I'm hoping to find a life partner to fit in with for the final chapter(s) of my life.
I grew up in southern Indiana and spent a number of years in the Air Force. I had a chance to travel around while in the military and spent 6 years of my life in England and a year in South Korea. I've lived in various places in the United States and spent about 14 years in Colorado Springs - I really do miss the mountains.
I ended up in Oklahoma when my second wife was offered a job in Tulsa back in March 2003, so I've now been her a while. I don't expect to spend the rest of my life in Oklahoma, but until I decide to finally retire for good, I've got a nice little house and feel comfortable, other than I get lonely for the type of companionship that my dog can't give me. I recently started a new job that I think I'm really going to like once I get into it more. I have other sources of income as well, so I'm fairly financially secure.
I'm hoping to get out and do more things this year. I like to go to the movies a lot, but I'm really wanting to do a bit of traveling, like Branson, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and some other places. In the next few years I want to take a cruise to Alaska - I did that about 6 years ago and loved it more than just about anything that I've ever experienced. I would highly recommend a cruise to Alaska to anyone.
I'm not looking for a one night stand because there's no love in that and I feel that a long term relationship is what I want to strive to get into so that I can once again be able to experience kissing, cuddling, making out and having sex. To be honest, it has been a really long time for me in the affection area.
If you find any of this interesting, send me a message and I will try to respond back as soon as I can. I know I have rambled on a bit, but I often think that the more a person shares, the more likely someone will enjoy reading a profile. Plus, it kind of shows a bit about a person's personality and if there are few words spelled wrong, sentences are grammatical and things make sense - the profile then is ultimately very powerful. Let me know if you agree.
